lawlz...Jafar would have to be my favorite...Villian!!!-Remambering on old nejipromaster95 account have this HUGE thing for him...- thanks for uploading..the funny thing is i actually understand everyword!
Oh boy DO I! :D He's my favorite ^^ Lets see, the characters I recall right now are Tarzan's Clayton, Pocahontas' Radcliff, Quest For Camelot's Ruber and Aladdin's Saluk, and those are the major ones! He was also in The Iron Giant, as the iron giant and a general. Hmm the villain frog in Flushed Away, Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story, title role in The Pagemaster and well... more! ^^ he truly rocks! :3
I agree, he is one of my favorites. He acts in such a great way, it all matches so perfectly. I have bought Pocahontas in Icelanduic, but I havn't watched it yet. I had no idea he played Ratcliff. Gotta watch it now :D
wow it's actually really cool they dubbed this in a language with only 300 000 native speakers. Great... I like the Icelandic language although I find it hard to learn

Lol, i really hate all the jafa voice-actors, except the swedish one. He sounds the most evil, and he really can sing too. Other jafas sound too... light and highpitched, lol.
I have to as someone who know this language. In Swedish we have this word "gammaldags", which mean oldfasion, or something like that. Not 100% sure about the english translation. Anyway, it really sounds like he says the same word pretty many times in this verision of the song. Does he?
in danish we have the word "gammeldags" and its also mean old fashion. in the danish version he says "du er jo intet værd" it can be translated to "you are nothing worth".
I really like his voice here....but he doesn't sound condescending enough for me. The Jafar I know always sounds like he's speaking down to you (well, except when he was pretending to be loyal), ESPECIALLY in this song!
But I still liked this version!! His voice makes an awesome Jafar!!!
Oh, you wouldn't have the possibility to put up the Swedish version of the song with the genie that he sing the first time Aladdin meet hem in the first movie?
Hey! Thank you putting up the Swedish version!!! Oh man this one just made me realise what a coolo language Islandic is! HAHA; it's so funny, I just hear all these weird words that I don't understand and suddenly there come a word that actiuallt sounds swedish. *laughing* Wow, really wish I understood what he said, even if I think... that I prefer the Swedish version. Probably just because I'm used to that one.
abracadabra!, hokuspokus!;-) we say that also in Holland...the childeren by the way, i tried many time to get things my way by hokuspokus...closing my eyes...but...sh**t, it does not work;-) I have to say you have an amazing accound and done nice work!
why are there even songs in cartoons, i always hated them when i was young and i didnt even know how to sing any song (like kids always know some songs) unless it was "gamli nói" or something.. i was used to play awesome resident evil games on my child age and some mario games on n64.. i didnt watch so many movies.. only aladdin and few cartoon shows, like ducktales..
songs are there to make the movie rock more, it's more interesting, helps the storyline besides the songs rock and give way more powerful impressions than a conversation ever could and are the center pieces of Disney films.
aha... O_o hef ekkert á mót þungarokki sjálf, en disneylög hljóma nú samt alveg yndislega í mínum eyrum og hafa það alltaf ^^ ég meina, varla varstu í rokki 5 ára?? neibb. en maður var alltaf inn í þessu ^^ En jájá, þú fýlar þetta ekki, náði því.

I like the swedish one too for his bass voice, wich fits Jafar better. But he has a dialect that is wrong :/

They tend to think that we always "roll" our Rs. Þúveist, like rrr sounds and stuff. I can't really hear it.. ^^

Y'know, the Icelandic voice for Jafar made me think that Skeletor was singing this song. All the better.
