I got cut off in my response. As to the water - you'll be suprised how much thewashing machine will suck out before you even get to the dryer. Down products look really big and poufy - but when wet they get flat and small. Of course when dried fully they will fluff right back up!
Hi IAmTheBOMB21 - Well generally most blankets can be washed in a home washing machine - twins and fulls no problem. No when you get to a queen and up then you might consider going to a laundry mat and using a larger machine. I myself like to use hot water and a teaspoon of dawn. You will likely need to take out the blanket half way and flip inside out so that the inside part can get dried just as well. Probably you'll need a good two drying cycles to be safe.
i have a question. i havent wash my blanket for a long time and i want to wash it. the only problem is that the blanket is biger then the washer and the blanket also absor water (alot of water) how can i clean the blanket without wasting so much water ?
why do we need to fold the blanket while washing? is it even necessary?
