They are both of equal levels. It's just that to have one class of Level 1 is way too many students, so they split it into two.

The levels in SDP Newton for 10-14 year olds are slightly different. They only run from Level 1 to 4.
As for partnering, that only applies to SDP Boston for 15-17 year olds. There is no partnering in the program for 10-14 year olds, I believe.

This is Level 1A, the lowest and first level of all 5 levels in this program.
