  • Really good review. Better than most. Thanks.

  • I never pull my trigger with a clip in it after cocking it. What a dumb ass

  • @TheShowmebby

clip? i see no clip in this vid you dumb ass!

  • I wish it shot .308... then again, recoil would probably be a TAD snappy.

  • I love your clock in your videos bro.

  • MADE IN ARGENTINA♥

  • This gun is a piece of shit, ripp off of the Beretta 84fs cheetah.

  • @ervb44 Actually. it is a rip off of the PPK. The Beretta 84FS has a completely different battery of arms and a totally different internal functions.

  • This piece of shit gun jammed on me 3 times out of a 100 rounds.

    Get a glock.

  • Thanks so much to you. I just bought this gun after a near home invasion of my elderly in-laws. I live right next door. We have a shot gun but that was hardly appropriate for that kind of use. By the time I got to their door the guy was gone. Anyway I got the gun, had the run through at the store and the guy was excellent props to Bob at the Phila. archery and gun club. When I got home I needed a review and you were TERRIFIC you don't run through fast and you take it step by step so thanks

  • bersa sucks

  • @cabrita232 I bet your sorry ass has never owner or fired one. Fuck off.

  • @TheArmorFreek Im a fucking police offcer asshole

  • @cabrita232 yeah right, you just dress up like one for gay fun

  • i currently own .22's and thats all i have. i wanna get somthing with some more power. is tepping up from a .22 to a .380acp good?

  • @Demonicgodd That depends if you want more firepower for defense purpose. If it is for defense, better chose a 9mm (hollow point), .45 or .40.

The .380 is a nice back up, but the stopping power low, so i chose a compact handgun but no less than 9mm.

For shoting range and fun yeah! a .380 is a great choice (like any handgun, dont you think?)

  • Good, thorough review! I just learned a few things about my new Bersa from you.

  • you look like a young tom siezmore!

  • He said it was chambered in. 308 lmao wish mine was! Whats with the gloves? Don't wanna get his bong resen on the piece?

  • I have 5 pro mags. Off brand but cost 20 bucks and work great. I have a pro mag in when i carry vs the bersa mag

  • did you film this in peewees play house?

  • You can actually get a magazine from cheaper than dirt for about $13. Its not the same as the one that comes with it, but works perfectly.

  • I just bought the Barsa thunder cc as well as the thunder plus. One for the wife one for my self. Both guns are very nice. Have the gun store clean the gun to remove the grease. I had to adjust rear sites on both. (nothing new)

  • lol 308acp

  • It's about the gloves. They're creepy.

  • @cartoonconn No way, the gloves are sweet!!!

  • nice vid and weapon, whats the trigger pull on this piece?

  • I just got one like this

  • You can have James Bond's gun at half price and without losing the webbing between your index finger and thumb!

  • mine wasnt soaked in grease, but mine also wont load anything but FMJ reliably.. still workin it in under 100 rounds

  • Great video

  • Great info brother

  • Excellent video! You are very thorough.

  • ...

  • Whew 308!! Thats a hell of a pistol!! LOL, let me know how it handles hahaha. JK :P

  • Bersa guns are police force and military proven. They lack the quality finish of more expensive european brands but are extremely well built and reliable. Here in argentina many cops carry this model as back up piece and almost every law enforcement agency in the country uses the fullsize 9mm.

  • I like your professional quality reviews. Finally someone who gives a review worth watching.

  • I have a Bersa 380.NEVER,ever, again. They are crappola ! My slide flew out into the firing range. When I retrieved it,I discovered a piece of the slide broke off rendering the gun useless. The slide is cast metal, not machined.Bersa pretty much told me "Too Bad,tuff luck".Kel-Tec is a better gun + it's made in the good ol' USA.Absolute QUALITY AND they are dirt cheap !

  • Great review, you are awesome! More vids please.

  • Just bought one used for 120.00 Im still shakin my head smiling. I knew these were total underdog guns.

  • Thats a cheap POS imitation CZ-82, and it's in .380, 200ft. lbs or less is a death wish!!! I paid $200 for my CZ in 9x18MAK and the quality and power way over-steps any crapy Bersa.

  • @MrTopgun5150 dude u are one of those i call a "blind expert"how is 200 ft lbs of energy a deathwish for the shooter?you sound real dumb.i cant find one person who would sign up to take a 380 to the head or chest.you guys up here kill me with this bigger bullet smaller bullet thing yet if someone had one to your head you would probably shit yourself...and as far as imitation i believe the CZ is also a knockoff...of what?the PPK!.have u owned a bersa?these r far from crap.fukin snob.

  • @GunNut12680 I'm sorry if you are ignorant to ballistics as most people are. I wouldn't waste my money on that POS. .380 is the bottom of the barrel for CC and most instructors DO NOT recommend them. As for your uneducated rant, the CZ-80's blueprint is where all the gangbanger special bersa, lorcin, hi-point, ect got the design for the fixed barrel jacknuttz. You keep relying on pyscological effects, i'll stick with knock down power.

  • @MrTopgun5150 knockdown power doesnt exist in handguns.only maybe in the 454 casul 500 smith class maybe..shotguns and rifles are the real manstoppers so if youre looking for true knockdown pwer why not carry a 500? or a shotgun or AK even?lol....funny guys on this tube.

  • @GunNut12680 Very true, but wound channels do exist. If you exploit many nerve endings at once the body will go into shock and shut down, therefore stopping your attacker.

  • @MrTopgun5150 and truthfully yea my bersa has jammed a couple times but its brand new and we all know its no sig or glock but who cares...its all in preference of caliber but to bash a particular gun(especially if never owned) or a caliber is wrong.

  • @GunNut12680 The %age to stop a threat with certain calibers is factual information. The .380acp is marginal at best. I'm sending a link in this reply. Notice the Corbon +p round is at 70% 1 shot stop, and thats a very expensive round to puchase. You must understand that the knowledge and education I have acquired over 20+ years of eating, sleeping, living this gun crap has improved my knowledge base drastically. If you like the pistol, good. But .380acp has never been employed by military or LE

  • @MrTopgun5150 hey no hard feelings dude.u have your points as do i.great guns u have by the way though.

  • @GunNut12680 Oh yeah its all good. Those vids with the Hi-Points are my buddy's guns, don't ask. There used to be a company called Triton, they produced .380+p's with 2 variations, Hi-Shok and Tri-Shok both of which produced close to 350ft.lbs of energy. You can find them on ebay and private sales. Just remember, in a confrontation you want to stop the attacker, mindset of killing them should be not be there, you just want them to be stopped so you can flee to cover, ect. If they die as result..

  • @MrTopgun5150 correct.u make sense.some seem to think its all about shoot to kill but its about shoot to stop.

  • Hey Kick, Well done! Straight forward, simple and non-biased reporting. You hit on many key concepts for safe pistol handling, as well as valuable information to consider when purchasing a handgun. Packaging heads up was excellent, as well as break down, safety demo, etc. Shooting sequences at the end were interesting. How are your groups with this little baby? Thanks for the info., you're a good man.

  • i just recently got a bersa 380 cc. while shooting it, after i had loaded it, i pulled the slide back to load one into the chamber and it sortof jammed. it was on safety. could that fuck it up? what happened is that a small spring thing on the right side came undone and the grip on the top part is not flush. i took it all apart and fixed the spring, but it is still not flush up top. i was wondering if you have ever heard of this??

  • Heck of a small .308 LOL nice video and yes i know 380 not 308

  • Had that Gun!

    Trigger broke 2x's!

    Could not Trust it!

Did not want to sell,it may fail again!

Told bersa to refund or Distroy it!

    Dave

  • Hey great vid-lots of good info. I just got one shot it today 30 ft ,I couldnt hit anything , all over the place . I am a very good shoot too, I just couldnt figure it out > any suggestions ?

  • I like your videos tho, very well spoken and informative, the only fucked up thing is that I subbed to you and when I go to your channel through my subs it says there are no new videos which is bugging me.. Other subs I've had shows their older videos already posted but I keep having to go manually to your channel to watch videos and I don't know why.. If anyone has a fix I would greatly appreciate it.

  • The thing I don't get with people not liking the initial DA to SA trigger pull is if you don't have a round chambered all you have to do is rack the slide and it becomes SA... I assume you're talking about more of a CCW scenario where as I can see the advantage of having the mag full and one in the chamber and ejecting the chambered round.. If that is why you refer only to the DA initial mode then yea I get it but for just target shooting you can also have an unchambered round and rack da slide.

  • does this fit ppk holsters?

  • I've seen Promags for this very gun listed at $14.

  • @orbits2

If you drop your gun ad let the other guy pick it up while you stand there then you deserve to be shot with it.

I also hate magazine safetys. They put them

In for stupid People who take the clip outa the gun and think that makes it unloaded. If people would stop handing guns to there spouse/freind/kid without telling them how to use it they wouldn't be needed.

  • Bersa is made in Argentina

  • Wait a minute, now.

First off, I bought a Bersa Thunder (actually a Firestorm) .380, primarily from your review because you're just awesome, man...AWESOME!

But @ 2:19, you say that you don't want to carry your gun with the hammer locked back. I take issue with that. I always carry my gun with a round in the chamber and the hammer cocked back. When I need it, it's ready to go. As taught by my CCW instructor, in a time of stress, fine motor-skills are compromised. Just my two cents, man.

  • @MilesOhToole

You should always keep one in the chamber, but keep it de-cocked. That's why the gun has a de-cocker on it. Rack a round, de-cock the pistol, then dis-engage the safety and your good to go. There's too much of a hair trigger with the hammer back.

  • They have a 22 round drum style mag. for this available...Does anyone know anyone that physically has a 29 rd clip for glock .40 cal

  • neve mind, At 2:30 my question was answered.

  • I just bought this gun today gun today, after loading it and with one in the chamber, the hammer is cocked back. With or without ammo, the hammer is always cocked back.

Is this the hammer suppose to be cocked back on before first shot?

    anyone know?

  • @TheAdvasaryOmega

HI, I just bought a Bersa Thunder Plus .380 and I had no problems with accuracy at all. I put a couple of hundred rounds through it and found that it came up sights on, shot well and my grouping was quite accurate both shooting instinctively and using the sights. (10', 15', 25'). The wide grip (accommodates the double stack mag) is nice for big hands (like mine). Also the slightly sticky "rubberized" grip adds to the control. For 350.00 bucks, I see some real value here.

  • i still go w/ ruger lcp!made in U.S.A,this bersa made in argentina and i dont trust it!sorry!!!!!!!

  • @dtc2125 Safest handgun I've ever shot.

  • Not a long hard first time trigger pull.

  • I bought the thunder 9 and love it

  • This is a Argentine Gun Im from Argentina, And I have this one.

    A great wealpon

  • great review I Bersa thunder because of this vid.

  • you must use deckoker function, to prevent accidental discharge. From Argentine. Marcelo

  • Can u remove that fucking mag safety function?

  • @maqnchs I did on mine, Its quite easy to do.

  • @maqnchs yes you can. you take off the grips and disassemble the firearm and there is a spring and rod you need to remove, after removal the firearm preforms as it should, just without the magazine disconnect safety.

  • @maqnchs ye sure so you dropped your gun and the perp can shoot you with your own handgun

  • 308 mad recoil lol

  • must be one hell of a recoil

  • @antisheople Its actually quite controllable and comfortable to shoot.

  • Comment removed

  • why does it look like the magazine is loaded? he never lets the hammer fall either which makes me think that it actually is loaded......unless he still thinks dry firing is bad. very strange....

  • why the hats?

  • why the gloves????

  • i think its cold there

  • Just bought one from Cabellas. Like the feel and am looking forward to firing at the range. More comfortable than my 357. great reveiw thanks

  • My friend,,you hit on a very good point about safety. That is the ILLUSION of a gun being EVER being SAFE. A gun should ALWAYS be handled as if is was NEVER Safe. The minute you accept a gun being SAFE will probably be the same minute that you you shoot yourself or someone else unintentionally!!

  • lol noob

  • @TheWhopman - I couldn't agree more.. Even when I am just messing around with my handguns I always make sure the mags are out and cycle the slide at least 3 times.. If I am practicing aim and intend to dry fire I will still cycle it 2 more times just for my own piece of mind.. Since my taurus pt92 is soo quick to strip opposed to the 1911 I usually just pull the slide off and look down the barrel just to be extra sure.. You can NEVER be to safe with firearms !

  • @mixwell1983 I usually rack my slide 17 times and put a bright orange ECI in the pistol even when I carry it. Just to be safe. Wouldn't want to have to rely on my own common sense and keeing my finger off the trigger. Don't want to bring fine motor skills into the equation...

  • @TirumphantAce - I am sensing come sarcasm here. It's hard to keep your finger off the trigger if you're doing dry fire practices....

  • @TirumphantAce - Just be careful though because if you rack your slide too much you might end up "going off" hahaha.

  • @mixwell1983 Amen brother.

  • @TheWhopman ....wise words and Damn true,Sir

  • Just thought you'd like to know that they make a 15 round mag for this pistol.

Great vid, my Dad has one of these and it shoots great!

  • @MattyMatt761 no they don't.. they make a 15 round version of the gun. called thunder 380plus

  • @nicklesaj thats what i have

  • Great review of a great pistol. I LOVE this gun. It's accurate, light, reasonably priced and really comfortable to shoot. I personally cock the hammer manually for the first shot, but I do appreciate the fact that it is also double action if, God forbid, I don't have the time to cock the hammer. Keep the reviews coming (how about a kel tec :->).

  • This is a great gun for the price. Looking to get one when I'm old enough. Great review by the way. You couldn't have did it better.

  • Why are you wearing latex gloves? Afraid to leave finger prints? LOL.

  • Will do you know that finger prints leave acid on the mental which can ruien the gun?

  • Yes I do understand that finger prints leave "oils" on the "metal" which can not "ruin" but damage the surface. They make oil rags to wipe them down with. You have a blued slide which can be affected by the oils, but the stainless you don't need to worry about. Either way, from what I here it's a great gun, plan on getting one in all stainless. Good review.

  • What I like to use on my guns is those Swifer cloths because they work the best.

On some of my guns I rap them up in with swifer or when I clean them I put just a little dab on gun cleaner on the swifer and it shines your guns up great .

  • watch out, made in argentina jajajjaja

  • so what?? its a excellent gun my men. whats the issue that is made from Argentina.¡

  • Can it be carried cocked and locked like a 1911? That would eliminate the transition from double to single action if it can be carried that way.

  • I 'm pretty happy with my .380 Thunderer. Light, concealable and the acuracy is incredible. My only beef is i'm having a lot of feed problems with the factory clip. Gonna try an after market magazine, hope that fixes it.

  • Man you look like you are about to break in someones house LOL!!

  • At 1:04 you said 308 and we know its a .380 am I the first to notice?

  • I own two bersa 380s and a bersa 45 both great guns. The bersa 380 is so damn accurate and so is the 45. I like your videos they are very informative and straight to the point. I have had problems with the black magazine that come with the 380 , went out a got a after market magazine problem solved. Keep up the good work.

  • i bought the Bersa .380CC for backup/CCW. Its alot smaller, lighter and more lower profile then the Thunder. Check it out, its been a great gun for $275.00. 500+ thru it with no problems. 8+1 is nice too. I too like to rack it, then drop the safety and holster. But i agree i love the simplicity of Glocks.

  • Im with you on this one....i just bought a Glock 23 for my primary carry and im buying the Bersa 380 for backup cuz all i hear about them is good things

  • I would recommend buying a different mag other than the one that comes with it bc mine locks up almost every time on the last round.

  • Thanks for the heads up on the trigger action. Leanin towards the Kel-tek PF9 for carrry now.

  • I always enjoy your reviews..keep them rolling.

  • Buena arma

  • You say you dislike the DA/SA trigger because the first trigger pull is so long. So, when you're carrying, rack the slide, then decock it, lowering the hammer, then, when you draw, cock the hammer, now your first shot is SA.

  • I just purchased this gun thanks to your review among others and am very satisfied. I have sent over 200 rounds through the gun of differing ammo and have had no issues. I am personally very accurate with the gun and it returns to target much better than my .38 special S&W. I love the safety features and also enjoy the fit and finish. I am 6'3" with big hands and it fits well in my hand without concern of any pinching. My girlfriend is 5'5" and feels very comfortable with my concealed carry gun.

  • Thanks for the review, I saw this gun at my local gun store and was weary of it cause of the price. The salesman told me it is unbelievable for the money but he is also trying to sell it :) I might go get this gun now.....

  • do you not have heat in your place? cause your bundled up in all your vids and it looks cold

  • i heard this is one of the best concealed gun

  • dude you have got to get a better sound recorder.

  • Is .380 ammo reasonably priced now a days?

  • .380 is kinda hard to come by lately. I paid $19 for 50 rounds of Blazer.

  • $19.00 is a lot to pay for C.C.I blazer ammo in .380. I payed $16.00 for it. Maybe it was marked up in price because it is very hard to find .380 ammo right now. I stocked up a bit of it and put the gun away for now. pistol ammo is getting real hard to buy....people are thinking if things keep going the way it's going with who's in office that pistol ammo may be micro-stamped witch will drivel the price way up and the old "unmarked" ammo will be outlawed. let's hope it wont be that way......

  • I saw a fresh case sell in the hour or so I was poking around. They limited it to one box per customer so guys were bringing in their wives to buy the other boxes.

  • Wow, that is crazy...what state is this in?

  • Ohio. More specifically, Portsmouth, Ohio... which is on the border of Ohio/Kentucky.

  • i stumbled across a way to override the magazine safety and be able to fire without a magazine present I purchased the walnut grips offline for this gun and it happens to lock up the latch at the bottom just take the old grips off and put the side with the latch on it on while pressing the magazine safety up and tighten the screw down hope this mistake of mine will help those who also don't like this feature

  • If you want to disable the mag safety on this gun, simply remove the right grip and remove the spring that keeps pressure on the mag safety rod. reinstall grip. No mag safety, does not effect performance or reliability whatsoever.

  • I just bought one & fired over 200 rounds so far. Flawless, absolutely a sweeeet shooting gun and conceals very very easily. I should have gotten one sooner.

  • I bought this gun and three different brands of ammo. It jammed every single time with every brand except the Federal. Of course the Federal is the most expensive. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed.

  • did you try ccl blazer or cor-bon d.p.x. that works well in my bersa 380.

  • thanks for the information. do you recommend someplace to buy this ammo online? the stores in my town are cleaned out of absolutely everything.

  • im about to get one for a bill but cant decide weather i want that or a mack 10 for 2 bills and yes homie im gonna b putting in work wit it bess BELIVE!!

  • i cant hit anything with my bersa...maybe its just the wolf ammo but you think i would still be able to hit stuff...with my glock a have no problem getting decent groups at 25-30 yards but with the bersa at about 10 feet i would not trust it to hit a 8 inch target...its really that bad, its horrible but again maybe its the ammo

  • i find this to be a very accurate gun. try some different ammo.

  • I was ready to buy the bersa 380 but the guy told me 380 ammo is damn near impossible to find right now..they had none in stock at a huge gun store..I went with the taurus pt111 9mm instead for $320..nice video..just wanted to put that out there.

  • thanks, ........

  • I just bought one on friday from a friend for $140. He bought it brand new a month ago, and only 50 rounds were put through it, 25 of which were shot by me, the day he got it. I think I got a pretty good deal.

  • would u sell me that

  • Thanks for the great videos. Your vids have helped me decide my purchases. Keep up the great work.

  • i had the one at :43.

  • i used to have one of those. its a pretty good gun for what you pay for. i think they are only like $225.00 brand new.

  • it made in my country G_G

  • LOL

  • i own this model. i love it. there is at least one bank robbery per week now in my area, and i live in a suburban/country type setting.... it's like the wild wild west now...i ccarry everywhere except when i go to work, which is over the state line into Jersey... i can't get a cc permit in jersey even if GOD co-signs for me... This gun is AWESOME !!

  • just got the thunder 380 cc. real nice gun. i would think at the price of under 300.00 that not much is better. lot of gun for the money. the nice thing about it is that no plastic beond the grips. guns in the 380 like the kal-tec are 75%plastic. this one is not.

  • Great review. Thanks

  • If I get my self a self deafens gun, Ill get the Thunder if I can. Good Review!!

  • that's a really stupid comment

  • these things are common its good to see a review on them.

  • .308 hahaha

  • Excellent review of the Bersa Thunder 380. Thanks very much. My gun shop has been out of them for a few months now and likewise with other compacts and a lot of ammo. People unnecessarily freaked out and panic bought practically everything in sight, mistakenly thinking the US government was going to take away our rights to bear arms. Geesh!

    :-(

  • looks like a compact beretta cheetah

  • Could be because Bersa took over the Beretta factory on Argentina and most probably had the molds for the cheetah......I bought one because I couldn't find a reasonably priced Cheetah......sort of a poor mans beretta....

  • guess so, they are using a good design

  • Great review. Thanks!

  • Proudly a argentinan weapon.

  • infia no seu cu

  • great review, man.

i love my bersa 380...i bought it off my buddy brand new for $115...so i REALLY got a deal.

  • hydrashok556 - you have your opinion just as well as you have your buthole!

  • thank for the video

  • I have been looking at your videos and was wondering, which one of these between this one and the Berreta 21a would be a good choice for self defense?

  • Well even know I love my little Beretta 21A , I would still have to take the larger caliber Bersa thunder 380 over it for self defence.

  • I got an extra clip off of ebay and works just fine! enjoyed the video bro!

  • People,do not buy a Bersa firearm for protection. They are junk + the company reps don't care.I've talk to a woman there and she was snotty as hell. I have a Bersa 380 I bought roughly 15 years ago . A piece of the slide broke off rendering my gun useless. I've had this gun out to the range twice. They have no replacement parts .The rep.made a comment asking me if I can still get a part for my 15 year old car ,and she was serious. It is now a very expensive paper weight ! BERSA NEVER AGAIN !
