@SubSlaveCD No more ghetto than any other country I've been in, and I've been all over the world. The difference being that in the US the affluent live on the outer edges and the poor live in the core. In most cities in the world the affluent live in the core and the poor live in the outer edges of the cities. It's just a difference in how the cities are laid out. London is by far the dirtiest city I've ever seen. But stay in central london where the rich live and you would never know it.
Awesome video!! Dallas your my favorite city I love you and miss you but Dallas dont have nothing on Houston freeways!! Houston is freeway city and puts all other cities to shame. HOUSTON KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
Awwh that's awesome i just moved here and I love to see roadways skyscrapers and city skylines and houston is one of the best places to get it all since i was little i was like i'm going to texas or california and wow texas is beautiful i like your videos awwh i wish i could go with you ..but i kinda am with you because i saw the video lol..from iowa to texas is a big big change ..some of the most beautfiul things on the planet are free..like this type of stuff =] wonderful view make more!
Bwa, nice roads and stacks and all, but where is the good roadmarking and signage system? Where are the optically adjusted arrows? The lighting is kinda fable as well.
@wimpie25 there is plenty of data offered above the freeways on over hanging sign posts, often marked more than just one occasion . arrows are on the signs as well arrows also before every major interchange to designate the lanes point of travel. I cant seem to conclude a issue with the freeways from your statements ?
Man, that was one of the best videos I've watched for a while. Loved the little tags you put on the roads as they shoot off to the side etc. It really helps to know what's what. Bloody fantastic mate!
@kjstars yes due to the overhead high energy corridor for western houston that lies within route of westpark , it was impossible to build a stack interchange here , it would have been to expensive to relocate underground , therefore hctra built the direct connectors ungergrade and underground.
@ScrewdUPClickV2 I can imagine the Underground interchange floods A LOT? At least I would think. I honestly don't remember that interchange their either.
How many minutes is from Katy Texas to the Downtown, and can you please do a video of Katy like by Katy Mills I mean like when you enter Please reply.
@dalipota depends on your definition of Katy,Texas . the suburb stretches for nearly 10 miles . tx-6 to downtown houston is about 25 mins , from tx-99 is about 35 mins
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Okay well can you also tell me How many minutes is it from Katy tx-6 and tx-99 to the Intercontinental Airport please can you tell me, and I live in San Antonio and I was requesting that can you make a video from Katy Mills (mall) either tx-6 or 99 to the Intercontinental Airport. Please
DAMN!!! That was one of your best videos yet man. Except for Westpark Twy I drive all of those freeways on a weekly basis at least. Glad to know Grand Parkway is now fully funded. Can't wait to see that monster of a beltway come to life.
Wow! This video and other one before makes me REALIZE how amazing Houston really is.... I mean a 31-lane road.... mega skyscrapers!! What else?? It also makes me want to go to Houston so badly...
I think I'm gonna have to rank this as your best night time, based on the effort you put into the special effects. I only wish the San Francisco Bay Area's freeway network was nicely illuminated like what you see in Houston; makes it much easier to film videos at night with the lighting.
@FreewayBrent Keep in mind... San Francisco Bay Area's and Houston are very different economically, socially, etc... Notice how both areas have huge difference in HOME PRICES despite both are interesting places...
@FreewayBrent i did shoot some in san francisco at night , it seemed as you say low lighting , but extensive effort in post video effects brings my night vids to life much more than the original video . thanks for watching boss..
great vid! i drive that westpark tollroad/ us 59 interchange all the time. its the best view in houston IMO. in daytime, you can see uptown, downtown, medical center, greenway plaza, pretty much every highrise in houston lol
This is totally awesome. Thank you!
