There is eucalyptus on those tisseu's, so they can breath better during the race.

Just try it, first eucalyptus in your nose (on a tisseu ofcourse), than take them out and than ride with your bike, you'll notice that you'll can breath better.

I would probably guess that some of the managers etc. invited Ben to ride the bike. Lance probably wasn't very happy about that though, i wouldn't be either. He's preparing for a very important race and he doesn't want anything to distract him.

I practice speedskating at a fairly high level (Not this high though) and if anyone touched my skates before a competition I would slit his wrists with them.
