Second of all, Syria has attempted numerous times in 1948 and 1967 to destroy Israel. And in 1948, Israel didn't even have a real, unified army.
So some rockets will succeed and land. Give it a few more weeks, they just launched Iron Dome, in a few more weeks they will perfect it and Israel will be safe from these cowardly missiles.

the haganah, stern, and palmakh had well-developed military forces well before 1948. they had good supplies of weapons from communist east europe.
the arab troops didnt even have enough ammunition, and if you havent been told, the total number of arab troops ACTUALLY SENT TO FIGHT was less than the total number of your troops.

Fine. so 1948 was baby stuff. What aobut 1967? The Arab countries may not be the best, but when it's 1 country size of New Jersey vs 4 Arab countries with another 10 sending in troops... The only way to describe 1967 is as a miracle.

they were organized, uniformed, had departments for intelligence, scouting, supplies, had very detailed records, officers, specialists, and more importantly a command system to which they were accountable for.

Look, if you speak to anyone realistically, Israel was surprised attacked in 1948 by all of the surrounding Arab countries. The only groups in Israel were underground resistance movement who didn't have the most high tech equipment, and equipment wasn't enough for everyone. And in 1967, they fought a ton of Arab countries. And won. And that's the IDF for you. Yes, the IDF is very strong, and that in itself is a miracle. Just 60 years old, NJ size...

no it wasnt. theyknew what was coming, and the jews were attacking the british heavily before 1948, even during WWII when the british were fighting against hitler.
the arabs were prevented from owning weapons.
the arab world was controlled by the french and british, and they made sure that the population has no sizable amount of weapons. we were unprepared

You can say that the Arab countries are pathetic, or that a country the size of New Jersey is stronger than surrounding countries way larger than it when Israel has been around for only 60+ years, or you can say it's a combination, or a miracle. Also, you're confusing the word "victory" with "defeat." As in, Israeli forces pummeled Egyptian military but accepted a ceasefire since Israel isn't a fan of war.

While I thank you for that generous offer, I'd rather stay in my 70 year old country that was the home of my people for 4000 years and the country that we prayed of returning to for 3000 years, and the only country in the world for my people, than Australia, but I do appreciate the offer. I personally think a better end to the conflict is for Palestinians to just agree to a 2 state solution, but I understand where your idea is coming from.

we didnt have ammunition. and many troops had minimal training because thier states only recently became independent.
