I don't mind the other vehicles either. There good qualities and bad qualities to them. I have to worked as a MECHANIC (Someone who works on cars as a job) and I can tell you a ton about what goes wrong with a lot of cars. Nissan has starting issues. Toyota doesn't have a ton of issues but they do recall more than any other brand. Mercedez engines don't last that long (owned one). Your rant was really stupid.

Sorry there Darkly24, Dodge has the only Million Mile Engine. Can you guess which engine that is without looking it up probably not. I will tell you, Cummins Turbo Diesel. As far as Dodge being crap I own two Dodge Trucks. A 1997 Dakota V6 with 180000 miles, and a 1997 Ram 1500 with 130000. Both run perfectly and are in super shape. Dodge might not have the best interior, but there engines are some of the best ever made. BTW Mercedez only joined Chrysler for the Jeep profit.

That car is the cheapest low quality vehicle ever I've had a scion cd for awhile(and still do) and it will (A) leave this car in it's dust (B) put this car to shame when comparing the interiors . Engine quality on this car is terrible it's a hydrostatic clutch ... Which is terrible ! It takes for ever for it to change gears and it's uncomfortable and noisy . Do not buy this car trust me . If you want a hatch back get a fiesta or focus or a scion xd or if you can afford an Audi a3 get it !

@readyxxi First off the Scion XD is only 14,997 and that is less than a thousand more than a dodge (which is crap) and i was looking at a Pontiac G6 while in search for a car (before i got my scion) and let me tell you it was nearly 2 and a half thousand more thank my XD and it was used with 40000 something miles on it . And they have proven Japanese vehicles will last you the longest and are some of the safest crash test wise. (right after German vehicles such as the Mercedes E-Class)

@readyxxi Continued- also i also stated get a ford fiesta which isn't over priced and another vehicle to consider is the new VW Jetta it is German quality and stylish and on top of that its only 16 grand, for a piece of German Engineering and it also has a 5star safety rating compared to the dodges 3 and half star rating ... and a way better engine and transmission!. FACE IT AMERICA CANT REALLY MAKE CARS ! if you can afford a German made automobile get it if not get Japanese .

@readyxxi And I love how you always bring up the recalls i bet you saw that on the news haha and that is the first time in a long time they have had problems and it is only on like 2 newer models . When Ford has a problem with ALL of there trucks from year models 1995 in up . It has a problem with the brackets that hold the fuel tank in place and if they were to brake it would only cause massive catastrophies including that the engine may just cut off while going 60plus mph thats no biggie lol

@somewhatlongdong Bought an '08 and it was the best car we tested in it's price range, best overall power, nicest interior stuff (cooler. 115VAC power etc.) great in the snow, wicked sound system had it for over 2 years now it has been flawless, feels much more than it's price... oh and the CVT was a great choice in options.

This car is doomed for any sort of decent resale value. Once it started to hit fleet markets its resale value went along with it.

But overall it's a good economic and safe car. I rented one 2 weeks ago and it was nice, better then i expected. The inside cheap though, but the ride was smooth.
