How do any of you perceive that it may be called 'iPhone 4G'? It won't be called '4G'. Apple would not come out and slap a tag on a phone that says 4G when it has nothing to do with data connection. Just like the previous iPhone's weren't named iPhone 1G or iPhone 2G, and since the 2nd gen iPhone was called 3G, it's pretty obvious that a naming convention will not be based on data connection anymore (at least not with a 4 in it).
@Deovera94 It's actually called the iPhone 4. I honestly dont know if it will have 4G, but 4G networks are out. My dad's new sprint phone, the HTC Evo, has 4G, but check out Apple's website, the main story is the iPhone 4.
right now if you look up the iphone 4g right no on youtube there is actually a video of steve jobs talking about the stolen iphone and confirms that its real. if you dont believe me, go look it up. he himself is not sure if it was left somewhere or stolen, but either way the guy from gizmodo that bought the stolen iphone wnt 2 his nabor's house to activate it and she called the cops on him. steve jobs actually said this.

@TechoPL No Gizmodo said they could not see anything like the memory or processor due to the metal shield over the PCB along with glue and tape. They said they would have destroyed the phone trying to get all that off. But my guess is its either using the same A4 processor thats in the iPad or a modified version of the A4 processor.

@g1234538 nope, he can't because Apple remotely disabled it so it can't be used and announced that they lost it.... so if someone finds it, it will be useless to him so he will return it to apple so he will get a discount. But this guy hasn't returned it and Apple tracked his ip given by youtube and police broke into his house and took the phone by force.

@501th I think its safe to say its real when you get a legal notice from Apple's legal team requesting the device back. Then Apple contacting the police resulting in a raid of Chens home. I don't know of any company that would have wasted their time with a fake.

@tailsluva Its referred to as the 4G for 4th Generation. Which is exactly what this "New iPhone" is. Its the 4th Generation (4G) iPhone. As far as anyone else knows Apple may have the official name of 3CPO its just easier to tell the difference by saying 4G.

@shyne100 Theres nothing special about turning it on. If you look at all the news articles or even the articles from Gizmodo you would see Apple did a remote wipe of the phone. Only thing you would have seen was the Connect to iTunes screen.

@TechoPL No Gizmodo said they could not see anything like the memory or processor due to the metal shield over the PCB along with glue and tape. They said they would have destroyed the phone trying to get all that off. But my guess is its either using the same A4 processor thats in the iPad or a modified version of the A4 processor.
