  • lol mail mother Fu**** lol i have the same thing BUT i have it on my blackberry to let me know when i get a text and BEAUTIFUL dog by the way

  • are their tales naturally like tht..?

  • No their tails are naturally long like many other large breed dogs. They get them cropped off, along with their ears at a really early age...i cant remember when.

  • I can't wait to get a doberman next year, (think I found the breeder I want). What crop are her/his ears... is that short or medium?

  • My dobe has his ears done. So what it is a doberman. My aunt got a face lift and fake boobs too. So what! its my dobe there are dogs and dobes.

  • I can certainly understand the couches being covered. My dobie has destroyed ours as well! Love them anyway....

  • Yah they get along so well its adorable. My dobi loves kids!

  • my sister just had a baby boy back in december,im getting my doberman in August,i cant wait for them to bond like this video!

  • :')

  • That was fun to watch! And I'm sure even more fun for cousin and dobie!

  • You've a beautiful dog, but i must say I really hate it when dogs like this have their ears cropped. (I'm really not accusing u of cruelty, I know is common in US)

Theres no medical reason for it, it is purely cosmetic, their ears where made flat so they should stay flat, I really don't agree with it.

In UK its illegal along with docking and rightly so. The breeders should be banned in the US too.

I know you are a very loving owner so not a pop at you, just the breeders in general.

  • dobermans ears are highly sensitive to infection if they arent clean thats why many people do it, i for one kept the floppy ears, but i clean them twice a week. the tail was done before we had a say but we would have done it anyway. the tails on dobermans are long and thin and easily break when hit to hard, so this prevents a very painful experience which is almost certain to happen.

  • YES AND IF YOU FOR GET THAT THEY ARE IN THE CAR AND SLAM THE DOOR ON IT IT IS VERY PAINFULL FOR YOU AND THE DOG. i'VE DON IT BY MISTAKE.

  • doberman's are more prone to ear infection without docking in ears

  • That's true, my doberman hasn't got her ears done and she kept having ear infections. But she never gets them now :)

  • @kristin1980uk you're right, most people in the US have their ears done for cosmetic reasons, but IF they have the doberman for working/guarding reasons, ear cropping serves a purpose. With the ears natural, the dog can hone in on a sound within 30-50 degrees of where it is coming from, with cropped ears, that number drops to below 5. The tail cropping is done so the dog doesn't get it caught on anything, and so intruders can't grab it in defense. So in working dogs, the practice has a purpose.

  • thats cute
