@mdotkane29 Just place the ignition key into the seat lock - DON'T turn it - just insert the key. Then rotate lever by the lock, again - not the key, and lift the back of seat up - slide the seat toward the back of the bike. The key doesn't have to be in the lock in order to put the seat back on - make sure the front tabs engage their slots and the rear is centered before shoving the seat down to latch.
Hi I love this bike! i have a m900 and i have a question. How did you mod the rear hugger? i have a carbon fiber one the covers like the whole tire, but im scared to take it off because the fuse box is like under the seat and if water got up there....well yeah. So i Really love your hugger and if you could tell my how you did it i would be very grateful.
@LoganRoberts16 Sorry Logan, but the gentleman who built this bike originally made that and I never got any details other than he either made it himself or modified one he had purchased.
Good effort dude, 1 suggestion though.... chop that nasty ass lugauge tray off, trust me, it makes the bike look so much meaner and gives it that proper street fighter look! ;) its a simple job.......
@mdthehp17 I had high D&D aluminum slip-ons on my '95 900SS/CR - incredible sound which made me do really bad things. I don't suggest you try it, but even after a lengthy ride, I could touch the outside of the can & it wasn't even hot - must not be much restriction.
@tsioumas I agree, but it isn't all that easy. The brackets that the crossbar attahces to don't open; so I'll have to remove the handlebar and slide the brackets off. I know, not a big deal, but just haven't been in the mood to take all the controls off.

@ducatiman77 Let the brackets on, unscrew the bolts and take the straight part off (the bridge). When you are in mood you can take the brackets off as well
@biklandur ..you'd know shit from clay about music wouldn't you....its done by a human on an acoustic instrument, and breathes and has life...bet your into computer dance music eh
very pretty. I have a '96 M900 that has a lot of the same add-ons and also an open clutch and different seat - - love this bike. :)

Engineering masterpiece, it's beautiful :D
I never knew you could have a second person on there too, isn't that uncomfortable for the driver because of the way they sit on the bike?
