Alright.So i just got this Sony HDR-XR520E like yesterday.

I took several pictures using the camera and i tryed to upload it into my comp.I used a USB CABLE to connect my cam to the pc. But no notification pop up.and like its like my computer doesnt sense it. i was just trying to upload the pictures from the cam.It always work on my normal camera.but doesnt work on my handcam which is Sony HDR-XR520E review. Should i get a memory sticking it? or any installation maybe? Please reply.. Thanks >.<

alright well i got a new computer and the computer detects the camera but shows nothing... like it tells me that a mini dvc has been connected but i can't locate the videos any where.. i tried everything from the "computer" file to the documents and just about everything else.. can you help??

i lost my usb this for my camera. I look at the A/V jack. It looks like my motorola phone charger. I plug it in. The computer says "___" found idk (its korean). Thanks ALOT man this really helped!

im having trouble with my dell laptop recognizing my hv30. i have a fire wire card that gets recognized. when my camera is connected to the card the computer dosent recognize it. ive tried downloading the program hdv and event went throgh my camera settings. every once in a while it will decide to work but its rare. please help thank you

I connected everything then pops up internal and media. But on the top it says Windows can perform the same action each time you insert a disk or connect a device with this kind of file: Pictures. yet idk how to change it to videos and i really want to upload some please help me.

Some have a little plastic cover you have to pull off to access. The cover is so that the ports do not get dirt in them. If its a DVD recorder then you have to use the dvd to transfer the video
