do you know why they call this a widowmaker? its ment only to change a tire, it says clearly on the jack... on audis they come with a single sided lift, so if u were to try and use it as a support for the car it tips over automatically when try to lift the other side

even though thats a pretty cool idea, I'd never do it under the middle of the car, it could slip and cause serious damage. I'd do it your way on the side rails of the frame for simple wheel changes maybe, but Walmart sells 2 ton hydraulic jacks for $20 which are much safer and easy to use.
You don't wanna use those jacks on the frame, they're made for the special side jack points. It can slip off and damage your car if you lift from the middle. You need a proper hydraulic one with a saddle

Nice tip but don't put all your trust in a scissor jack. I have actually broke one before.
