The problem with app opening comparisons is that the iPhone app is always open once it's been opened. The pre actually closes the app. To close an iPhone app, you have to reboot or use a jailbreak.

The screen rotation test was all wrong, the iPhone screen rotation is delayed on purpose because sometime people accidentally turn they're iPhone sideways for a second and back again, the delay is a feature, trust me I have an iPhone 4 and it's a lot faster then the 3Gs but screen rotation is the same speed. It's a feature.

I have a palm pre and overall i never wished i had an iphone. I use the multitask so much that the iphone would just piss me off. if someone texts you while you are doing something on the iphone, a huge obstructive notification comes up and says NEW TEXT MESSAGE! and if you get two at the same time, one will overpower the other and you may never know. on top of that you have to stop what you are doing and respond, on the pre it is unobstuctive and you dont have to completly stop your app
Iphone on wifi loads up a lot of more elements of the page than palm does. if you wanna try that just click on anything and you'll see. iphone is the most useful phone nowadys but i prefer my 12mp samsun pixon lol i do have an iphone 3gs as well but camera is the most important thing to me :D
This video is outdated. The Pre has video recording. The keyboard is also very easy to get used to. The apps may be lacking, but think for a second, how many apps could you possibly need? At most a twitter client and a few games, which the Pre has. The phones are both very equally matched. But when you throw the HTC EVO into the argument, both of these are blown out of the water.
i think the iphone is best, it is faster in loading applications, it has a more user-friendly interface, it has way more apps, it has a better keyboard and it has a bigger screen and a better quality touch screen, it has video shooting and editing software, it has more accesories so ill be getting the iphone tbh

They are both awesome phones and you can't go wrong with either.
Some people don't like AT&T and Sprint has it's share of haters as well.
I just can't say enough about the card multi-task system of web OS. And the
fact that you can do most of the navigation with one hand. Including typing.
There is one correction on here, you can't get the alpha keyboard onscreen but
for making phone calls, the numeral keypad appears on the screen and that''s

the pre loads apps a lot slower, BUUUUT you can have more than one open at a time on the pre, so you don't have to reload it. it's a toss up.

Iphone on wifi loads up a lot of more elements of the page than palm does. if you wanna try that just click on anything and you'll see. iphone is the most useful phone nowadys but i prefer my 12mp samsun pixon lol i do have an iphone 3gs as well but camera is the most important thing to me :D

This video is outdated. The Pre has video recording. The keyboard is also very easy to get used to. The apps may be lacking, but think for a second, how many apps could you possibly need? At most a twitter client and a few games, which the Pre has. The phones are both very equally matched. But when you throw the HTC EVO into the argument, both of these are blown out of the water.

i think the iphone is best, it is faster in loading applications, it has a more user-friendly interface, it has way more apps, it has a better keyboard and it has a bigger screen and a better quality touch screen, it has video shooting and editing software, it has more accesories so ill be getting the iphone tbh
ps. internet speeds depend on your area on mobile internet so it really depends on your loaction

I find it strange that every new smart phone that comes out, says better then the iPhone. the iPhone is king of the mountain and everybody is trying to over throw him. thats what happens when you design and develop the best smart phone on the planet. it still has room for improvement and has some short comings. but nothing that can't be upgraded over time.
and anybody that buys a phone cause it boots 1 second faster or opens a application for the same reason, now what?

Iphone is actually the worst damn phone in the world.... until it's jailbroken. Then it does all the things it was supposed to do from the start.
Multitasking, bluetooth sharing, applying themes and custom backgrounds for the native apps. The appstore is a big plus for the iphone too.

@brandonnary then why watch the video if you hate them both. I used to have the palm pre and i spent 200 to cancel my sprint service because it was so bad. I had a nice case on my pre but it still cracked 3 times. Plus it becomes frozen randomly.
