  • I own a 91 VR4...the car is not hard to work on, besides removing the AWD transmission. 4G63 cam seals leaking??? You kidding me..never heard that before. Yes..timing belts will be eaten if you don't change them or inspect. 4G63's pushed harder by owners and alot of them don't take the required measures to maintain them. I have seen a fair share of Honda motors take a crap with less beating.

  • I had a 1989 Mitsu. Galant. 2.0L engine. had it for 16years, 108,000miles, then i got a shitty toyota.... what a mistake!

  • @TheCubanMan728 I have a Galant '90 GS it's a 2.0 DOHC... but the replacements are a little hard to find in my town... I've been thinking change it for a '95 200sx se-r with SR20DE... but I still don't know...

  • The 89 to 93 was best galant series, mostly the VR4 performance setup. But Galant GS & GSX are very hard to find.

  • @SANYUR A friend has one of these in VR4 form - not the easiest car to fix, but it goes like there is no tomorrow...

  • @joh2 Well 90 to 93 CB7 accords are easier to fix & not easy to kill one, where the galants can eat your lunch is 4g63 cam seal oil leaks, eats up timing belts for dinner.

  • Loved the Galant series. Especialy the 1993 line. Nice car for 1990 though.
