ok so when I went Ganon form on him the damn hero of time would use his superior mobility to get behind me. So to counter that, next time I wont go ganon I will learn sword play and fight link head on in my normal for so he can't out manuver me like that... Ill keep the duel swords though they were pretty cool.

I just beat gonondorf and I went to go kill him again. it was all going fine until my game glitched so when zelda fired light arrows at me it hit me and didnt bounce off my shield

and as revealed in the wind waker, ganondorf wants to take over hyrule for his people. it started off as a noble-ish thing and devolved into a lust for power.

This game is the best. Ganon unlike in Twilight Princess actually fitted the role of the villain nicely unlike in Twilight Princess where it looks like Zant was intended to be the main bad but then Ganon butted in at the last second saying "I'm the villain! Get out of the way freak!" and Zant was reduced from being an intimidating badass to being a sniviling lacky who acts like a child on over a thousand grams of sugar. Poor Zant. They ruined him there. TP still has good gameplay though.

Best battle vs. Ganondorf ever. This guy is way more evil than his older gens, or at least, shows himself more evil. The battle itself was amazing. Countering, guarding, evading. You didn't need to do that much of those with the other Ganons. This battle gave me a feeling of fighting a dark lord, instead of stretching the battle to 4 phases like TP. No complaints, but just saying.. the battle is way too long to be epic. This fight wasn't long, nor short, but everything needed to finish the game.
i always did like this game for one reason, the final battle was worth the S#!T quest, zelda finally did something. the one disappointing factor of oot was when you lose the master sword in the final battle she can't just toss it to you over the tiny wall of fire
@thehumanplayers Well, you also have to think about the magic the Master Sword was forged with. (At least, this is how I had read it.) The master sword -chooses- its master. (no pun intended). So Zelda wouldn't be able to pick it up because it chose Link. It would be like a mortal man trying to pick up Thor's hammer. (Like I said, this is what I had read before but your welcome to disagree with me.)
@MrJetstreamjesus The way I see it is that the Master Sword can only be pulled from it's resting place by the hero, but anyone with part of the Triforce can wield it. However, because it is the Sword of Evil's Bane, Ganondorf cannot.
I really have no idea if this is true, I don't generally read up on this kind of stuff, but it's what I think.

@GortonMichael Again, I don't read up on this kind of stuff, and I haven't played a lot of these games recently except Majora's Mask, but I thought that a "pure" heart and a "balanced" heart, were different. IMO, both Link and Zelda have pure hearts, but neither have balanced hearts, which is why the Triforce chose them for the pieces. The same splitting of the Triforce would have happened if either of them had tried to touch it, due to their belief in the powers.

True, Zelda does get kidnapped most of the time, but she is an important character in the Zelda franchise. In Ocarina of Time, for example, when she was helping Link during his quests in disquise. Princess Peach in the other hand, doesn´t help that much at all. Always waiting to be rescued when she gets kidnapped in every single Mario game there ever is.
@Invertedzero if you beat it there is a hard mode afterwards. I don't know how tough it is cause I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but it should be somewhat more difficult.
@hmnhntr It's not a hard mode, it's exactly the same with the exception of the fact that Link/Aryll wear different clothes and you have the Deluxe Pictograph box/figurines from the start.
@Invertedzero Pfft yeah after years of running through most of the dungeons but having trouble in some and also the final boss, I played it again recently. I've got to tell you, I RAPED Ganon.
@Invertedzero I agree, except what the game is missing is more dungeons. It's too easy to get the Triforce of Courage pieces, if just a little frustrating because of how long it takes. It'd be nice to... I dunno, have Goron City and the Fire Temple turn up as dungeons, seeing as both of them are now likely underwater.
@Invertedzero they should probably also make a master quest version of Twilight Princess. Ganondorf only does half a hearts worth of damage with his normal attacks!

I also got 4 Zelda manga's. Zelda OOT part 1, Zelda OOT part 2, Zelda MM and Zelda Four Swords. I know there are more Zelda manga's out there, but those are the only 4 I got so far.
I also got Zelda posters and Zelda action figures.
Like I said, I'm a CRAZY Zelda fan. I wasted a LOT of time and money on Zelda.

@Cybrisk really? i thought it was so with Twilight Princess though. It was sort of slave-made due to all the criticism, and it just felt way too adapted for the american audience imo. I just recently started playing it again, but it has too much focus on being a dark adventure, and it just has very little of that "nintendo-ish" feel to it like the 64 titles had, which i think used to be a sort of trademark for the game.

It's gonna be like a platform starting from a lava pit that circles around my ankle most likely. The small pillar grows like an acute triangle up to a platform where link stands with his back turned towards us. He has his sword out and is facing the dragon, which is spiraling around the platform from the lava.

@Invertedzero I agree, except what the game is missing is more dungeons. It's too easy to get the Triforce of Courage pieces, if just a little frustrating because of how long it takes. It'd be nice to... I dunno, have Goron City and the Fire Temple turn up as dungeons, seeing as both of them are now likely underwater.

@Cybrisk really? i thought it was so with Twilight Princess though. It was sort of slave-made due to all the criticism, and it just felt way too adapted for the american audience imo. I just recently started playing it again, but it has too much focus on being a dark adventure, and it just has very little of that "nintendo-ish" feel to it like the 64 titles had, which i think used to be a sort of trademark for the game.

It's gonna be like a platform starting from a lava pit that circles around my ankle most likely. The small pillar grows like an acute triangle up to a platform where link stands with his back turned towards us. He has his sword out and is facing the dragon, which is spiraling around the platform from the lava.
