I find those who speak the English language often misunderstand and assume. Often people don't listen very well, but speak too often when they should be listening. Or they are thinking about what they want to say instead of listening.

Assumptions and misunderstandings are even more greatly occurring online in text like this. I find often I need to write a paragraph to give a sentence context.

So I like to do it in video, where they listen for several minutes and get perspective. But not always.

They made it first without subtitles. Then lots of people pointed out that deaf people wouldn't get it. You'll notice it is about a deaf person (the actor is not deaf, and is not playing the guitar - it's a made-up story).

So it was pretty weird they hadn't thought of this, while telling us to care about the deaf.

The driver was more considerate when stopping due to the headphones. Had she not worn them they might have assumed that she'd hear the car and stop which would've been fatal.
