Well UN permanent membership wont matter that much. This is step if taken is mainly to keep China from being overambitious in the region. But still China isn't such a great threat as many think. Yes my comments may spark some controversy but China-India conflict may never happen. C'mon an even more Intense conflict between US-USSR never resulted in a war, China-India Conflict is just a momentary. But considering the fact that China has some crazy leaders we need to be alert!

First, why Pakistanis are afraid of India joining the UN Security Council as a permanent member?? I read all the comments on this video. I saw the comments of the people who are objecting to it and all are pakistani. Its clear from their names itself.

Second, pakistanis shouldn't even say a word about human right violations. Everyone remembers what they did to the Bangladeshi civilians in 1971 to their own countrymen, their civilians. That cannot be termed as a genocide.. that was a holocaust..

India's effort to join the UNSC and US support in that, are both pointless efforts and a waste of time for both nations. Instead, India and US should be focusing on building better nukes, missiles and other space or terrestrial bio-chemical and non-conventional weapons to decimate China and its Islamic and other terrorist stooges in Pakistan, N.Korea, Arabia, or other parts of the world. After the enemy is decimated, they can both then sit down and think about how to unite these nations...

Turkey has excellent relations with Iran, Israel, Russia, Pakistan, China, Brazil, US, EU, and just about everyone else.Also it is a member of NATO. It is strategically located. Pretty much the centre of the world.

Whether such a seat is desirable, is a different matter. I would not want any kind of theocracy using such a seat, christian,hindu, muslim,jewish,whatever.Look at what happened in the UN with two communist seats
