  • Semplicemente stupendo.

  • This music is from the Taffey Lewis Nightclub scene in Blade Runner. Just an observation.

  • @doughsquid

No it's not. Sounds similar, yes, but this song has more of an Eastern/ethnic flavor than anything in Blade Runner.

  • what kind of music is it??

  • @LaChicka111 the most amazing game-worthy music you will ever hear.

  • Perfeita!

  • i've heard better atruim carceri is better

  • I love this song its perfect to belly dance to, does anyone know where I can download this song?

  • @yanabonita1992 the song is free in Broken Crescent, a medieval total war II mod. Look for in Music files > frontend

  • Anyone know the string-sounding instrument that starts at around 1:05 ?

  • @Yashendwirh I think it's a simple synthosiser(Spelling?)with a cello.

  • anyone know the insttrument that they use around 1:05? I always hear that in middle eastern esque style scenarios, it sounds cool

  • @xadrach Violins, cellos, basoon, bass clarinet, vocals, ect and possibly it sounds like french horn

  • @xadrach Me too! OMG, it sounds like a violin or some kind of string instrument, like in the beginning aladin?

  • @xadrach /watch?v=bRwaVanPTDE maybe?

  • @xadrach It's a synthesizer definately. Search for the live version of this song... The instruments you-re hearing consist of a couple of violins, cellos, and viola de gamba, perhaps.

  • This might sound strange, but this really reminds me of the Shadow Temple in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. o.o;

  • Peter.. fan va bra!!! :)

  • Nothing beautifuler than arabo-persian poems, tales & music <3

  • Thumbs up if you first heard this in Broken Crescent : D

  • Ok, have I just found something awesome. Love this music. Usually when I find something new on youtube it's the only good song from the band in question. Now to check the others. I love this ambient stuff.

  • Comment removed

  • @cmoncas99 Her own, I think. She's just one of a kind ; )

  • ULVER

  • If you like this middleeastern, dark and ambiental kind of thing, you should try Karl Sanders.

Search for Karl Sander - Awaiting the vultures.

And Angels of Venice - Queen of the Sun.

  • büyüleyici

  • LOL all I could think was "Shell ass"

  • prince of persia

  • @Naterfosth89 jajaja yeah that`s right XD

  • Beautiful and powerful at the sime time. What a piece of art!

  • Not too shabby, my man!

    Not too shabby at all.

  • Persian Soul Forever

I dream Alexander's army marching in Gedrosia's desert...

    Again Maurice Druon^^

  • @menelgond Amazing music. And I am honoured that you admire Alexander. He was indeed a demi-God!

  • @HellenicGlory yes the last son of Zeus before the Christ according Maurice Druon in his book, since 2M years no demi god in this world... but i prefer great losers in history : pompey magnus, hannibal, parmenion, etc.

  • Persian Empire song ^.^

  • nok

  • Forever perfect song for a march in persian empire... in RomeTotalWAr or in car before my competitions of badminton...

  • @menelgond Yes it work in Roma Surrctum 2 :D

  • @menelgond

Reminds me of Prince of Persia :)

  • oh i think it´s very great

  • Amazing!!!!

  • These kind of Music belong to time of Persian Empire, very less used these days, another examples in: prince of persia, game.

  • Reminds me of Loreena Mckennits "A Mystics Dream" - maybe a little too much...

  • omg ! first time i heard this music, in Broken Crescent menu, best mod for Medieval II Total War.

i love it, i imagine macedonian army walking in the persian empire !

maybe because i read Alexander the Great of Maurice Druon listening this track.

    try u ll see^^

  • I LOVE it ^_^

  • All these band you guys mentioned are cool but I'm looking for more of a ritual feel, like with beating of a drum, tambourine , something along those lines. I'm starting to thing "Ritual Ambient " doesn't exist, lol

  • @Joskun

You may try Ulf Söderberg, Nest and Irfan.

  • @Dorftroll alright Ulf Söderberg and Irfan are superb man!!!

Can you link me to Nest? I couldn't find it.

  • @Joskun

Huh, the link doesn't get posted. Look for Nest - Moonbow. In the info section of this video, there are also links to some websites concernig Nest.

  • I think you might enjoy the great music of Wardruna

  • @MasterGraal YESSSS! That's what I was looking for. Just listened to "Wardruna - Hagall"

    Loved it! Anymore?

  • @Joskun I could recommend some songs if you like.

  • Not quite alike, but has medieval mystical tones, Dargaard.

  • OMG, this is really awesome!!!

    Any more bands like this???

  • @Joskun: Try "Die Verbannten Kinder Evas".

They sound pretty similar to Arcana.

  • @Zendrig They don't seem to have that ritual feel that Arcana has but I really like their medieval touch. Thanks a lot!!! more?, lol

  • Niyaz, Vas, Axiom of Choice, Lisa Gerrard.........:)

  • @DRAGOVODA Really nice, all very good specially the first two!

  • Sorry, meant to click on ok, not on the thumb down. ooops

  • FANTASTIC! I am loving this!!!

  • it feels like if we are in old egypt

  • feels? :-) I am every night there lol

  • was this song played in a movie recently? It sounds very familiar. I think maybe it played in certain segments of Dorian Grey. But I'm not sure.

  • Thanks Nick...

  • My favourite song...

  • it makes you feel like if the time doesn't exist anymore... just you and this perfection arround u

it makes you think what happen if the thing are not how we can see them, if the things doesn't exist and if you don't exist anymore, what is in the next second of your life???

    but you don't know :(((((

  • Why do use :((((( you should be using :)))))) I like it this it just sounds peaceful to me. I don't know why but I love it. It sounds very artistic XD

  • This is one of my favorite songs of Arcana.

  • this song sends me travelling into unkown realms

  • love the beat and tempo. It's dramatic, tireless and determined. Great for meditation and most definitely belly dancing ;)

  • @urundulblue I love to belllydance to this song!

i'm trying to find the name of this band, a music project actually. they make music similar with this, they also have a rock influence, latin choirs, etc.

some of their works had been used in movies as backgrounds.

    thanks

  • name of this band is "Arcana"

  • yes i know that :)

i'm trying to find another band which is a bit simila to arcana.

  • there are several, like nox arcana, autumn tears, dead can dance...

  • i know the ones you are tellin about, thanks. but they are not the ones im lookin for. i remember seing vids with them here on youtube. and many of the vids were having just a background picture a paintins depicting angels, something like reneissance paintings...

    i don't think so:p

  • It's Arcana not Nox Arcana!!!!They are different bands...Both great...

  • ah ok

    nice^^

    like it

  • Nox Arcana is better

  • I have to agree with this..but i love arcana too.

  • @DeadCountessV lol ty for the clarifcation thought they were the same.

  • Two steps from hell maybe

  • A song i think its called redrum or somthing. that might be what you are looking for

  • @StoneSoulKey

In that case, it would be Immediate Music (used in a lot of movie trailers) or E.S. Posthumus.

  • yep thats it. :]

  • Strike! :D

  • I love Arcana. They are like Dead can dance but with a more dark, eerie sound.

  • Magical...

Ideal music for long distance walks through the countryside!

  • sorry to everyone I didn't thumb down anyone I think I thumbed down the wrong video just to clear everything up I think this band and song is beyond awesome

  • This song may be about Gabriel the Archangel, but it doesn't mean that Arcana makes "Christian music". However, this song does make me think about the unearthly things in life.

  • @meut14 Gabriel the Archangel is also relevant in Islam, he is the one that appeared to Muhammad and let him know he was going to receive revelations that would become the Quran. I think, given the middle-eastern sound of the song, that the song is oriented towards Gabriel in that sense.

  • @smartspick Israel is in that part of the world, too...

  • @dyingvine

    Your point being?

  • hope I don't sound crazy for saying this, it's just what comes to mind when hearing this song. What I picture is the Arch-Angel Gabriel dressed in a long hooded robe wandering and in search of ancient relics to stop demons from ravaging this world I know my imagination is WILD!!!!!!!!

  • Why do u thumb down?

I think its a great vision.

    =)

  • Actually this style of music is called "Medieval and Renaissance". It reminds of "Dead can dance" because they wanted to be "POP" and used some eletronic and complex sonority .

    Medieval / Renaissance :

These variations may be associated with both medieval religious music and profane medieval music.

So I don't think I even need to comment its more like profane medieval am I right? ;)

  • Oh btw, Dead can dance style is called "ETHEREAL".
