Im surprise that the chrysler corporation had enough money to make commercials back then. they could have saved alot of money by rerunning a pickup commercial from 1975 every year since they used the same body style for nearly 20 years.

It seems like Dodge was lagging behind in modern style til 94 when they introduced a more modernized Ram that we saw up til 02. The 90-93 Dodge Ram looks like it belonged in the 70s

i own an 85 ram d150 prospector edition equipped with the 318 v8, automatic transmission (904 i think), and the Chrysler 8.25 rear axle that has the open diff(that part sucks) and am pleased to say that after 300k miles it still runs. it has a ticking lifter but other than that its in perfect shape. oh yeah its never had any work done to it other than changing the oil/trans fluid and filters.

My dad use to have a 1986 Dodge when I was a little kid. That thing was only like 5 years old and it was on its 3rd transmission. Never did any pulling with it eaither. Just an around town truck. Piece of shit.

That's why my 84 Ram has over 400,000 miles on it and I haven't had to do one thing besides change oil and spark plugs. 99% of you Dodge have haters have either 1- Never owned a Dodge, 2- Get all you're opinions from a friend, or 3- Both of those. I have owned Chevy, Ford, and Dodge, and I will NEVER go back to Ford. Probably one of the weakest/slowest trucks I've ever owned.
