What really dissapointed me about the movie was the fact I wanted to see General Grievous kick ass but unfortunately we don't see that he turned out to be not much of a tough opponent for Obi-Wan.

In the cartoon version at least we see him kick ass especially how he takes down a group of Jedis which is what he should of been doing in this movie.

..."General", as it occurs in the star wars galaxy, refers to a person who throws away any significant or tactical advantage in a battle situation.

he was a great warrior back in his home planet, until emperor palpatine (i think?) planned to kill Qymaen jai Sheelal (his real name) because he disobeyed orders, so they destroyed the ship he was in, then they recovered his body and replaced it with mechanics, which is what he is now

The movie does not do Grievous justice in showing how powerful he was. He was able to fight Shaak Ti, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Mace Windu to a draw he killed about 6 other Jedi and spared with Dooku on a usual basis. IMO Obi-Wan would have been killed. The only reason he survived is because he has to since Episode 4 came out before Episode 3 and Kenobi is in Episode 4. Otherwise Grievous would have slaughtered him

one must remember that Obi-wan Kenobi is in fact THE master of Soresu Lightsaber form which is a defensive form so why is everyone complaining about the fight scene between grievous and Kenobi? do you not have faith that THE master of Soresu could not find a weakness in grievous's fighting style if you do then you know nothing of master kenobi's prowess and have no knowledge of his skill with a lightsaber

You know, Genndy Tartakovsk animation series of Star Wars: Clone Wars made General Grievous such a threat that I would believe that even Master Yoda would have difficulty with. But then the movie came along and I said to myself shit, when I saw for myself General Grievous turning into this Jedi hunter to a cowardly snake. It's unfair.
