I miss him sooooo much! I was so blessed to sit under him as a child. I loved his style and The wonderful oil annointing services. A whole bucket of oil on ya! LOL. Such precious memories!

I to loved and miss Bro: West he was truly anointed of the Lord.I wasin mettings with him first in the big tent services in Harlan Ky back in 1983 or 1984 he inspired me in the Word of God I loved his oil anointing services and his music it gos on and on looking forward to seeing him again one of these wonderful days.

Bro West was a great man of god, an inspiration to all in his preaching and music.The first time I shook his hand I felt the annointing and love within him all over me.He taught the greatest quote "Jesus, was more than a man". I always enjoyed his services the few times I was able to be there. The last service I heard was when he sang the song "lift up your eyes" a secret that david shared when he was just boy running from Saul jesus was there all the time.

I knew this man and yes he was great man of God, a great preacher, he was a great father and friend to many , this man baptised me after i got saved and he is missed and loved i miss sitting in his services and watching the power of God come over him, but his work here on earth was done and God called him home,and our prayers go out to his family his wife marsha, two sons micheal paul and jay boy and their wives, we greatly miss him and love all of you. I agree also that he was a great man of God. I know the Bible says we see through a glass darkly and wonder why some things happen to good people the way they do, I am just glad to know that God's on the throne and even when it seems like all hope has faded Jesus Christ can bring comfort in knowing we will see our loved ones on that wonderful day. I love him still today and think about him all the time. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think about him and his family. I love them all very much. He is gone but never forgotten. We still hold up the banner, Jesus He was more than a Man.

Wonderful video of a loving and caring Man of God. I knew Brother West and was very close to him. He held me in his arms and ministered to me at the paramount arts center in Ashland KY in 1979 and God healed my crippled legs. I was raised under the ministry of Bro.West and am still a part of His family and ministry.
