Wow you guys are harsh! i am taking Afro-Cuban lessons currently and to me the young lady was not that good in the beginning(as a matter of fact I would drop the very beginning)but was able to follow well. Isn't Afro Cuban about expression???? Well if it is that would lead me to believe that it's up to the dancer(and skill level)to translate the music......meaning a different couple may do this differently, not wrong but different. They were good and dude did his thing.

I have to agree that this looked New York, it did not look cuban or casino to me. I agree look up Yanek y Diana, they DANCE! If nothing else, the "cuban way" is to dance according to what the music is telling you, not some choreographed moves. I wished there was more flavor to their dancing, casino style has turns on top of turns, not so much spinning.

That wasn't Afro Cuban. That was pretty much USA style. If danced well it can look spectacular. The guy knows how to dance. I guess the girl just needs more practice as the description indicates it is a practice video. My preferred style is real Cuban casino (salsa) and rueda de casino.

ok...first of all you can tell that none of them are cuban 'cause they suck at this. The guy is a little bit better than the girl (which by the way is really, really bad at it). She has no rythm what so ever, she is just horrible. the dude is not completly awfull, he has the technique but he lacks the natural movement that afro-cuban dance requires. Other than that...very nice!!! at least they were trying, it's not that they sucked too much at it...it's just that I've seen better than that.

This is the greatest video I've seen. The Afrocuban needs more variety He has smooth salsa skills. I rate this video a 10+ He has his own unique style. His is defiantely street and gutter salsa. I LIKE IT
