  • Please tell me the two drafted before him were God and Jesus.

  • @trufleshuffle12 1st pick was hakeem olajuwon he was really good in the top 15 greatest so the rockets didnt have a bad pick

  • And the rest was history

  • "Hopefully I can contribute my ass Michael", Do you have any idea how many players never got a Championship ring because of you and they just got retired waiting you getting retired to get a chance.

  • Biggest bust ever Sam Bowie did it all

  • prophecy @1:40

  • I love this. No-one knew of what he'd become. "Hopefully I can maybe turn it around." Listening to that made me smile :)

  • lol Sam Bowie

  • Perhaps you can turn that Bulls things around......what do you think? He should've said....I'm going to turn it into the most acclaimed team in sports history, win 3 consecutive championships twice, and become the best basketball player who ever lived....you just watch!

  • And thus the legend begins.....

  • Chicago was crying for a winner... but never thought MJ and the Bulls would dominate the 90's.

  • did he do good in the nba? :D

  • Noone KNew he would be the BEST Player of ALL TIME Ever!!!!..... or His SHoes Would become the BEST and FAMOUS shoe to be Worn

  • this jordan guy was pretty good wasn't he?

  • @tobyster01 Noone KNew he would be the BEST Player of ALL TIME Ever!!!!..... or His SHoes Would become the BEST and FAMOUS shoe to be Worn

  • Why did Bobby Knight have Michael Jordan and the rest of the 1984 Olympic Team practicing in Bloomington on the same night as the draft. Attending the draft and shaking David Stern's hand must be a great moment for players, you'd think B.Knight would have held off on a practice and let guys like M.Jordan, Sam Perkins, Alvin Robertson and the others draftees on that '84 team attend the draft in person. It's funny seeing how modest everyone is when you consider MJ became The Greatest Of All Time

  • God damnit portland! WHYYY!!!??!

  • yeah you turned it around and kept it there lol.

  • God saw his humble heart and made him the greatest.

  • Now That A rare MJ Footage

  • Interviewer: "Perhaps you can turn that Bulls thing around..."

MJ: "Hopefully I can contribute and maybe turn it around."

    Biggest understatement in draft history?

  • Great vid

  • bust.

  • for the sequel, see Derrick Rose

  • @notagain001 no

  • @notagain001 no

  • Boy did you ever turn it around!

  • "I can't wait to see you next year in the NBA"

  • @notagain001 Is he making a comeback again?

  • @AirJordanLegend Oh I was alluding to what was said 1:53 and on. There is speculation MJ wants to return -- in an interview he said he wants to play, as an owner of the Bobcats -- but it's hard to imagine he's any condition to do so.

  • "How do you think you'll fit there?"

That question sounds so absurd Nowadays!

  • and turn it around he did...

  • either he was humble or he was a little unsure.

None the less a champion is what he became.

  • fascinating look -- what MJ thought of his future NBA career
