Obviously, during your entire research, you failed to realize that this currect FISA Bill only strips Telecomm companies from CIVIL actions, such as lawsuits.

But people are still free to take criminal charges against telecom companies.

Obama is not a true liberal. Obama is a moderate Democrat. He has some issue in which I am in disagreement also.

I'm on vacation now and will run down the info you cited here when I get back. I know there's a lot of nuance in these bills.

I'm a realist, and I'm not interested in throwing my vote away. Like I said, I'm going to vote for the most antiwar candidate I think can win. I would rather elect Obama and pressure him, because I think he'll respond to pressure. But I think it's wrong to think Obama is going to be a good president without pressure, or to be uncritical of his positions/record.

I'll check those out, but I'll tell you right now I understand it. It's the snow job that's coming along with it that I don't buy. He can legally make this choice, and it will probably benefit him. He just shouldn't say it's noble, because it's not.

Clinton should have said "If you're going to ask tabloid questions, you've come to the wrong man, next question" but I am sure he had advisors telling him to say no. Who knows what any of us might have really done in his spot.
