I wish there were more Mellisa songs that I could use but unfortunately her lyrics don't seem to work for my editing style, but I am always hoping to find another one of her songs to work with as I have seen her in concert like 5 times and she is just so wonderful and an inspiration to millions.

I am a big believer in fate and sometimes we have to go through the shitty times to reach something better. I myself had to go through the breast cancer scare to find FingerSmith and then the course my life has now taken with going back to college and England, so I went through emotional life threatening issues for 6 months last year and now look where I am.

Wow, I can't imagine what that must have been like for you. Both my grandmother and my aunt had breast cancer. I agree with you. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom in order to get back up. Getting through it though only makes us stronger.

I was fortunate that everything worked out ok in the end all though had to go through 2 surgeries and still get infections at the operation site, but I still have my life so I can not complain. I know it made me re-evaluate my life and where I was and where I wanted to go. So good does come out of bad.

I couldn't agree more. I had to go through the bad health crap last year to find myself a year later with a ticket bound for England for October and a new life beginning as I go back to college for Film editing at the ripe age of 40. So something came out of all the pain and emotional hell I went through last year. But I now think Fate deemed it necessary for me to suffer that so that I could re evaluate my life and be at the point I am now. So the bad can make us stronger.
