it is really difficult singing the melody along to that crazy harmony part Elvis is singing during the verse. really cool harmony part though. i wish the performance was longer.

I'm HUGE fan of both of these guys and I still have a SPIN magazine from the late 80s where Elvis takes a pretty good swipe at Sting (after his Rainforest efforts). I was always a little miffed at him for that...but after all these years, it's good to see them as buddies (...with all that money, how can you be bitter? I think they are neighbors in Tuscany). But it is gratifying that it is Elvis opening for the Sting and not the other way around... :)

I love Elvis Costello so much. He is a musical genius. I got tears in my eyes watching his new version of Allison. Then when Sting joined in and starting doing the original harmonizing, I got the chills. I totally agree with rushringsfanatic. The world is a better place with artists like these :)
