its a fast car, dont be confused. If youre not light with the gas, and you go past 2500 rpm, the turbo kicks in and you definitely feel it!

I recommend this car. It is better compared to BMW X3 2.5lt and better overall as a car almost in every aspect. High end SUV crossover.

The BMW X3 is a total rip off. I know two people with them and i rode in them. Harsh rides, and you're not getting ANY additional benefits compared to the many other small SUV's out there, except from having a BMW badge.

the first time i saw the fully load cx-7 i fell in love with this truck. i researched all suv's and this is the one you get ur money forth. i love, love,love,love, my truck! i been havin it 8 mons now. i went from shitty ass pontiac G6 to a mazda cx-7.best kool lookin suv and best performance.i recommend the mazda cx-7 to everybody! i just would hate to see everybody drving the same truck as me.lol

Just bought one. I think it is a great car especially versus many of the alternatives close in price. I also own a 08 VW GTI and noticed after the fact when I parked one behind the other, that they have very similar stylings with the exception the CX7 is longer (so it seems, didn't verify that). The GTI obviously pulls harder with the lower weight, but this car is fast enough even with my lead foot. Most people (as usual) are way behind me in my mirror from a light.

Well, i like this car, i think that is awesome cause it's beautiful and powerfull, but i have a 97 civic vtec non turbo and it makes 0-60 in same time that this car lol.. altough this is a heavy car if u compare with a small civic, Cx7 has turbo and 243hp.

You know this wouldn't be so bad if it got maybe 3 more miles per gallon city and highway. I mean they made it for city and highway driving but the gas milage is equivalent to a jeep. And those go off road. This well... I wouldn't go off road with it other than maybe a grated dirt road.

I don't know which Jeep you're talking about but the milage cx-7 is actually just a tad worse than the Patriot and considering it has more space than the Patriot and more power than the 4.0L Jeep engine, I think the milage is excelent.

Don't drive it hard and you'll get the extra 3 mpg.

It also has enough turbo lag so you could poke around a city without boost.

Only for those who does not car about fuel consumption. I'm only getting about 230 miles on a full tank. Driving 45 miles gets it to 1/4 of your tank. But damn this car performs like a car. The turbo kicks at 2nd gear and it runs sweet on all aspects including breaking power.

Im really happy with our 2007 CX-7, gas mileage is worse that what you would expect from a 2.3 I4, but still not too bad, around 18mpg in city, 24 highway. Step on from a stop and there isnt much power, but once the turbo gets going she pulls pretty well.
