And let me hit on the steroid thing.....are you freaking kidding me. Pujols never had a sudden change in aperence since high school. He has never had a dramatic encrease or decrease in his numbers since his pro career(including minor leagues)might I add that he is still on pace to hit 40homers this year with a hundred pluss RBI's........o yeah, and all this with the new steroid testing policy......

Yo homy.....In regards to feilding, Pujols just won a gold glove last year and he has a cannon.(cant play Defence my ace)Also when Pujols came up, he played left, right and 3rd extremly well. He also played second and short during spring training this year.And in regards to hitting, Pujols has Ice in his vains.....can you honestly tell me that you would take A-Rod over Pujols when it counts.......didnt think so....

The best player of his generation - no question about it - was Atlanta catcher BOB UECKER!!!! His lifetime .200 average was -- OK that sucked -- but his defense was -- well not that bad -- actually - that sucked too!! We loved him here in Atlanta - of course that was during a 26 YEAR Atlanta loosing streak. In 1967 Bob ended his illustrious 6 year career (with 4 different teams)! But Old Bob is still in the upper deck -- half drunk as always - cheering 'em on!!! Love Ya Bob!!

Albert Pujols has not played long enough to earn that title as best player of his generation. Albert plays first base - that's reserved for hitters with no fielding talent. Alex has defensive talent at two positions now, plus is on pace for well over 800 career homers, and no steroid issues. Albert will fizzle around 550 homers.
