If you're starting out making videos or you're on a tight budget I use an Olympus TG-310 tough which records 720p HD and 14MP Photos, It's also waterproof and shockproof. It retails at around £149 or another good option would be a Canon PowerShot/IXUS A lot of vloggers use Canon and the quality is very good. I know iJustine Uses a Canon powershot for Vlogging.
