Here's a theory for the context of the song.

I just realized when she said at 3:00 "the perfect gift for me" that this is probably going to be a holiday episode that will air sometime in December. Assuming that's the case and assuming they don't have any more delays, then that would mean that it is probably going to be in an episode between 9 and 12 possibly. I don't think that this will show up in any episode, mostly because it's so long and it doesn't sound plot-related. It's Pinkie singing about herself. It sounds more like a soundtrack theme.

At the Gala is near 3 minutes, winter wrap up is almost the same exact time so its not a time issue as for fitting it into a story, pinkie is always trying to cheer ponies up it wouldn't be hard.

Wonder when this song will air. It'll most likely be in season 2. There is always the slim chance it'll appear in S3 since they're already doing voice work for it. My personal guess is sometime between S2 E20-E25 since the song sounds mostly complete but likely has some more work being put into it.
