I digg, but i have no camera to post. try going to a Sam Ash or Guitar Center or local music store and look for a "Best In Class" or "Standard of Excellence" Method book. There is no wrong way to "SELF"-interpret music if ur playing it right. That's why I say don't change a thing if it's for you. Ya digg.
A whole Note is note colored in..... That wold be a note of no value until u add a stem on it to give it a specific value.
Also, u might want to state that the signs under the notes are in retrospect of 4/4 (Common) Time. Cuz a whole note gets 1 hit but covers 2 beats in 2/2(Cut) time and not to even mention triple meter timing. Ur definition of ur note values can be misleading, but if it's for ur own benefit and understanding don't change a thing.
