How in the world did you make the effects get onto your LEGO pictures or when you're filming a movie? I tried taking pictures of my LEGOs and I put them onto the computer, but I could not insert the effects. (By the way, if you take pictures of your LEGOs for a LEGO movie, but don't have time to edit them, I'll be happy to do them for you.) I'm waiting for both your LEGO movie and your tutorial. With the ninja movie I'm going to make, I'll put a short LEGO movie on it (and it's gonna' be funny)
@kellz6amazon Cool man! Well the way I did it was I put the pictures together in sony vegas, Rendered it with no effects to make a video with just the animation. Then put that into whatever program you're doing effects with. Add the effects, render that then put that back into Vegas for sound effects and any tweaking. Render that as your movie and done! :D Kinda complicated but I'll make tutorials very soon. :)
It's about superheroes. I'll post it after we finish it. Just to see if you like it. I might not be chatting with you now (although I'll try to) because we're really onto that movie.

Hey! I found a totally free downloadable FXhome Visionlab Effects Pro! And it's even approved by the original company! But, I'm still trying to get the hang of it, because it's kinda' hard to work with. Maybe you can do a tutorial about how you operate it. It will really help a lot! Andrew Keller
@kellz6amazon You can make effects with different programs. Even paint! lol Also I believe you can used sony vegas for effects as well. It's a great editing program! :D

But if you go to fxhome.com I believe they have it all there. EffectLab is a cheaper program but doesn't have all the features that VisionLab has. But there are other ways of doing effects. @jakeryan9941 I used fishing wire for the grenade at one part. It's not good at all! haha But yes, Masking is much better and a whole lot faster then trying to get a lego grenade to stick to some fishing wire. lol

Then put that into whatever program you're doing effects with. Add the effects, render that then put that back into Vegas for sound effects and any tweaking. Not really. It just provides a lock on target for the artillery. It's for more precision strikes so there's less of a chance for blue-on-blue. :D
