  • Whats the song? Thanks Awesome room btw Xp

  • Kaptainkurj: I think the below should answer your questions as well. Thanks for watching.

  • Raj (continued): For the LEDs I basically hooked them up in 4 separate channels and powered them with an American DJ T20 light controller. The synchronization to the music is all done manually by me bu the device does have an option to chase to music via a built in microphone.

Oh yeah, for the laser beam to be visible, you will need a fog machine which you can find online for abotu $30-$50, not too shabby

  • Raj: The setup is rather cheap. The laser was purchased on ebay and imported from China for about $250 or so. It's the only way to get a laser above 5 miliwatts without requiring a variance permit, which can run very expensive.

The light tubes are actually those LED strips that you see at IKEA. They're about $50 for 4 feet which I needed 16 feet of it. You may be able to find the LEDs elsewhere for cheaper.

  • how did you get the led lights to change patterns like that?

and how much does the setup cost you. (besides the laser).

im trying to see if it is feasible in my dorm room

  • dude..you are god...i so need this 1...can you tell me how much the setup costs ... how do you make those light tubes respond to music...please respond..

  • OMG :O

    AMAZING
