Ok so both Poi are going in the same direction, in split time on wall plane.
Your hands cross briefly as if you're about to do a weave, note that if your poi are spinning clockwise your left needs to go over your right!
So your left hand crosses over your right, your right hand releases the first poi and then the left hand releases half a beat later... with practice it should end up looking like that!!

The poi in the vid are just another prototype really- I'm still trying to make the 'perfect' poi for me...
The poi are made from a single piece of Kevlar rope with a knot tied at one end- only the knot is dipped and burnt.
This leads to a section of the rope that is exposed to high temperatures and no fuel so they will naturally degrade and break over time.
I wouldn't make any to sell, sorry :)
