  • Roush-yates 5.0 ftw!!!

  • cool

  • FORD=First On Race Day, but really Travis P. and Waltrip in a ferrari?

  • @TecZero1000 More like RILEY! All the top three ford backed vehicles were Riley bodies, which is what really pay matters. All of the V8s have essentially the same specs and power. Last year, Chevy and BMW dominated the prototype segment. With the new Corvette DP being put in its first ever race, there's gonna be problems. We'll see what happens at the Porsche 250 come march buddy...

  • I do like the new look DP's way way way better then the fatboy cabs

  • hopefully allmendinger can get a win or two in sprint cup this year. he's due 4 one, probably at dover maybe watkins glen

  • AJ may go on to have a great NASCAR career...but he really looks more at home in these high tech beasts on a road course over the relatively low tech NASCAR cars on an oval.

It was only his stubborness that kept him from going to F1.

  • @InvisibleTeeth Not sure AJ ever had a F1 ticket? But I agree with you, he is one hell of a driver, and he will earn more in Nascar than in all the funny stuff. Thus he drives Nascar!

  • @antisharia Red Bull wanted him, not Scott Speed to go to F1...AJ didn't want to live in Europe.

  • @InvisibleTeeth Perhaps Red Bull showed interest for him, and why not; AJ is a hell of a driver, with F1 creds when you look at the gokart and CCWS - I think he would have done well in F1. But you made it sound like a slam dunk case, it was not. No where near.

  • @antisharia No, it wasn't a slam dunk.I'm sure they'd want him to run F3 and probably test some with Red Bull....Pretty much the same thing they did with Scott Speed...then run him with Torro Rosso and make him prove himself like they did with Vettel.

AJ has stated many times that Red Bull wanted to take him to Europe but he had no interest in leaving the US. He reiterated it again after his name kept coming up for the USF1 team that was supposed to happen(that never did)

  • @InvisibleTeeth I think you are right in as much as he wouldn't go to Europe, and also when you saw Seb Bourdais' poor showing in F1, I think this cooled AJ down quite a bit...to be honest.

I just want to see him kick axx in the Sprint Cup now, bring home some silverware.

  • @antisharia He would've went before Bourdais did. Bourdais didnt go until 2008. They wanted AJ to go after the 2006 season...which is also how he ended up in Cup...

    and yes, hopefully he does.

  • Saw him bring it home. Great form.

  • Wow, awesome race, I have to give props to Grand-Am for the new DPG3s. Duelling all the way through the night to the finish!

  • Go A.J! I want him to get his first win.

  • brian johnsan did awesome

  • Great comeback race for Justin Wilson!

  • Allmendinger FTW!!! NASCAR's best driver!

  • WOO-HOO, OZZ NEGRI WON THE RACE!

  • FORRRRRRRRD

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Yeaaaaaaahh. Free ants.

  • I hope AJA wins a Cup race this year. Dude can get it done.

Congrats to the whole MSR crew for winning. :-D

  • Allmendinger! YEAH!!!

  • Atleast AJ Allmendinger won somethin :D

  • HELL YEAH!!! Congrats to Allmendinger, Wilson & all the rest people at Michael Shank Racing!!! Can't wait to see that team in IndyCar in 2012!!!
