What Nora and Bo have done to Matthew is criminal. They have decided that regardless of Matthews wishes to have risky surgery to restore his health. That regardless of the emotional strain and friction within the family to have to take his parents to court and go public with his desire to walk again. Regardless that every week he delays surgery means most likely surgery will fail to get him to be able to walk again. That they are SO RIGHT that Matt will just have to live with his paralysis CRUEL
I feel sorry for Kevin - most of the crazy edge of Bo and Nora's "ZOMG those butchers'll kill Matthew!!!!" mindset probably got shaved off by the nature of communication by e-mail, he's too busy with his own wife, kid and end of the family business to do his own independent research, and he got dropped into the deep end of a dysfunctional mess.
