  • A little rough... Wrong chord at 4:35 and all over, etc.

One note: Vibraphone (my opinion) is much easier with Burton grip.

  • buena version...pasate por mi perfil y escucha mi version, espero te guste..

  • it's allright. You know what - I'll be playing this one very soon on my post-graduate concert. It'll be on Oct., 17th. I'll give u the link.

  • the verylast chord - epic fail.

  • @TheCarnivorousWay Yes indeed... I hate when that happens... specially at the very end... it just kinda destroys whatever magic you created before...

  • Some wrong notes ;) All in all very good, but I must say my friend plays it better and tell me what was 2:25 ?! A quite too long pause ... whatever, you did well :)

  • how long did it took you to learn this composition, also what type of mallets are those great job........

  • I'm study percussion too dude ..

    Very well played.. .

  • @Rubenzr Espectaculo ;)

  • you play this very well. i really like how you play stylistically. however, I might suggest using a softer mallet. In the louder volumes they tend to get a bit harsh.

Felicidades,

    diego

  • Hi !!! Nice ,man but is it any reason to play jazz in Stevens ... I play Stevens but I want to play jazz,is it necesary to change my grip from Stevens to Butrons.. ??/

  • No, any grip works well as long as you know how to use it. Personal recommendation: learn all three grips and be proficient in them. Just because Gary Burton plays almost exclusively jazz vibes doesn't mean his technique can only be used for jazz vibes, and vice versa for Leigh Stevens.
