  • I will allow them to call Atheism a religion if they allow me to call Theism a delusion.

  • How dare they compare scientists to priests.

  • Liberals, do you understand now why eugenics is a good idea?

  • @blackacidlizzard I tend to get yelled at for this, but I am in favor of eugenics, if practiced ethically. I have no problem with the idea that I might be able to change the natural hair colour of my offspring, or even stomp out any possible learning disabilities. I think it's got a bad stigma, that's all.

  • Sorry, creed and priest don't rhyme...

  • The sign should say "ATTENTION RETARDS, TURN RIGHT NOW!

  • @Brennan29 They've already turned right. They need to turn left!!

  • Try, try again, incorrect.

  • I'm always confused about whether to give videos like this a thumbs up (glad the poster uploaded it so I could see it) or thumbs down (disturbed that a church would post such an evil message). Anyway, in hopes of supporting the uploader, I gave a thumbs up.

  • weird. i was an atheist before i understood evolution, before i knew who darwin was, and before i had an interest in science. lol.

  • @420simpson Yes, I was like that two. The way I see it, there are two types of starting atheists: Hitchens atheists, and Dawkins atheists. Hitchens is more dependent on logic, and morals (or lack there of) in religion, while Dawkins is more into the science aspect. I'm not saying Hitchens doesn't utilize science, (or Dawkins logic/ reason) but you definitely see a contrast in style.

  • Power lines are Christians, evidently.

  • Atheism is the absence of religion,

there are a number of atheists who don't believe in evolution (poor, misguided individuals that they are),

and said group has no connections with Darwin (the remainder of atheists who Do believe in evolution certainly don't worship the guy,we just think he hit on a very important scientific discovery)

and scientists and the scientific community expound on this, not in a tone of worship but so we don't stagnate in ignorance.

    I despise christians like these...

  • @TheReliquarian Even if we did "worship" Darwin, at least we can prove he existed... I'm just sayin!

  • Hmm... And yet they apparantly use electricity in that neighbourhood - Do they ever take medicine or go on the internet?

    Own goal fail.

  • Aside from the fact that Atheism is not a religion, I don't see what's offensive about that sign.

  • They would not have been able to make that sign without scientific developments. This is one be failed attempt to attack other people's beliefs. The world would be a much better place without asshole pushing their beliefs onto other people. Just leave people allow and live your own life.

  • Even if that sign was true it would still be a better religion than theirs!!!

  • HA!

  • wow what a ridiculous amount of bullshit on that sign.

  • Backward rednecks DUH!

  • atheism is indeed another dumb religion (just like the other ones)

  • @buffboynick What? If all religions are dumb, and you count atheism as a dumb religion too, then what is left?

  • @Sgrunterundt

    Realism and Truthseeking (Agnosticism/Deism)

  • @buffboynick Ah, then we just disagree on definitions. I consider myself a truthseeker and an agnostic as well.

It is just that the evidence I have so far lead me to not believe that any deities exist, I am therefore an agnostic atheist.

If I saw evidence to the contrary I would change my position and become an agnostic theist.

Extreme gnostic atheism like you describe is certainly dumb, but also EXTREMELY rare.

  • leaders of organized superstition showing their ignorance. what a sad case...

  • hahahahaha!! Who ever wrote that must be the greatest comedian of all time!

  • By that rational, not believing in the Loch Ness Monster is a religion too.

  • Comment removed

  • Uhh, no, I don't think these guys ever read science books.

  • @shoogie06 the 'religion' I grew up in shunned most education and learning, especially scientific learning. They didn't 'ban' you from learning per-say but they would lecture you and lay on some really thick guilt trips if you spent time on education instead of learning their ways (aka reading their brainwash material and spending all your free time in god's service). I pity most people who have been brainwashed by religion.

  • If atheism is a religion, then not playing soccer is a sport.

A religion has two components which must both be present:

    1) It is a formalized system of ritual and belief.

    2) It is focused on a supernatural being or beings.

Atheism is neither an organization, nor a religion - just a number of folks who have, independently; through thought and study; come to the conclusion that there is no supernatural force in the universe.

  • It's always funny how the theists try to turn science into a religion as a way to demean it. Almost as if they are saying "Well what we believe might be crazy but what they believe is just nuts, so which side are you on?"

  • I don't think Theist's understand the meaning of "Contradiction". Which is exactly what makes them Theists in the 1st place. Sheer mindscrewed brainfuckery.

    Pastafarianism is a Religion.

    The Meatera is the Creed.

Mosey, Ragu, Ishmali Camuwanda, Nin Jah, Blackbeard the Pirate and Barry Foster are the Prophets.

Capt. Jack Sparrow is the Priest. Religion can go fuck itself raw and dead. They'll never understand NON-religion.

  • the stupidity of our american christian counterparts boggles the mind.

  • It happens over and over and over, in one forum or medium and then another, but I'm still amazed at and educated by the dishonesty and self deception and general mental retardedness of people who're religious in ANY WAY that reveals itself whenever a discussion about anything involving religion gets started and people try to defend the religious elements.

  • so basically; ha, you atheists are EXACTLY AS BAD AS WE ARE !

  • what other bullshit, Atheism is nothing more than a No asnwer to the question: Do you believe in God (or Gods) Nothing more Nothing less.

Anyone who made that signs should be slapped in the face with origin of species ^^

  • Atheism is not a religion people should stop calling it one

  • They forgot, "Reality the god."

I'm not sure why Christians try to prove that Atheism is a religion. What's their goal? If it were a religion, then Atheists would have more protection than we do. It would then be illegal to ban us from holding local offices. If someone fired us for our beliefs we would be able to sue for religious discrimination.

  • Atheism is a religion like "off" is a TV channel. Why is that so hard for people to understand?

  • LOL

  • and the telephone pole is just a coincedence

  • People who have a problem with Atheism need to grow up.

  • *facepalm*

  • @red666111 Well said. Another response may be: SMH... SMFH

  • If Atheism is a religion, then NOT collecting stamps would be a hobby.

  • @Pinkergloop That's very good - I like it!

  • Dam strait!! and whatch out christians!! were coming for ya ha ha ha ha !!(evilaugh) we will kill all the non beleavers in the name our living god Charls Darwin!! hah ah !!we have planed this take over for years !! and you guys just let it happen!! you should have burned us all when you had the chance but no! you got soft!! started not lissoning to priest all the and useing our "evil" science! we tricked you!! and now we will take over and make you our slaves!!! IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE =)

  • as sam harris has said, atheism is without content.

  • evolution, darwin, and science have nothing to do with atheism at all.

  • That looks more like a pro atheist sign. It's like an (anti be a fucking retard) sign. It's a good thing.

  • @A55TRICKY I'm completely anti being a "fucking retard", if "being a fucking retard" is in the sense of "believing in imaginary friends". Hell, I didn't even have an imaginary friend when I was a kid... Yet, I tell my parents all the time "I still believe in Santa.. If 'he' wants to bring me presents, I'm right here!!!" :P

  • This church is scared of the truth, so they go on the attack....It has been this way for thousands of years.

  • causality + God -> google it and bill hicks universe youtube!

  • Atheism merely requires a modest level of intellect and cognitive skill; as apposed to being a Theist, which only requires having an anus to stick ones head into. This correlation explains the overwhelming number of Theist.

  • Well, at least it rhymes, so while I find it highly offensive, at least it entertains my ADHD.

  • @RRConghaile It doesn't rhyme very well. That's not even a half-assed slant rhyme.

  • I guess thats clever

  • How slow are people driving past to be able to read that?

  • How negative. I mean it's one thing to hold that opinion, but it's another thing to declare it on the church's sign. Does that really attract people to their church?

  • It's kind of a dick move, but I'm an atheist and I've said worse things about religion so it's cool

  • @Omegashadowyoshi At least they spelled everything right. Most can't even do that.

  • The three Abrahamic religions are the most evil and dangerous organizations on earth. The world would be a safer place if there were no religion in it.

  • Saying atheism is a religion is like saying NOT smoking is an addiction. Saying evolution is the creed is like saying gravity is a creed. Saying Darwin is the prophet is like saying Einstein is the prophet of relativity. Scientists have gave us the telephone, computer, the construction of the sign they used, construction of the building their church is in, the car driving by and many more. Priests gave us the crusades, burning of "witches" and mass delusion.

  • @coopmuch56 Well said!

  • So true. And whats wrong with it? Why is it evil? Athiests do this and worse 24/7

  • haha is it not True? you need just as much faith to believe in theory as we need to believe in god ..what you have evidence with theory? Us to the bibles more than 48 prophecy's have come true the odds of that are 1, in a trillion of even 1 coming true ...same sh*t different name

  • @HTBPFilms *Prophecies. We do not need faith to "believe" in theories. We need evidence to understand and create theories.

  • @HTBPFilms No. Read some books and study what theories and evidence are. Then do a little research about those supposed bible prophecies, and what faith means. Until you grasp those things, shut the fuck up, you are an embarrassment to the human species.

  • hmm so when the bible said there would be an economic crash in the future bringing in the devils mark which goes in your left hand or forhead and you cannot buy or sell without this , and now we hear of a microchip that is going to be turned into currency and it goes in your left hand or forhead and its called RFID but the credit cards with this already in it are called M.A.R.K HMMM i have done my research im just not stupid enough to believe its all coincidence @hanspeterpitsch

  • @HTBPFilms I see you didn't do your homework

  • @HTBPFilms You dont need faith when you observe a lizard evolve an organ over 40 years.

  • LOL except there is absolutely no creditable evidence for that and last time i checked the theory says it takes waaay more than 40 years to even just devolope an organ plus that would mean there is some rule in the universe that all things no matter what they are evolve yet there are plenty of animals that disprove evolution because they would need EVERY SINGLE one of there functions at birth or they would not survive to even get a chance at evolving@coopmuch56

  • @HTBPFilms

Irreducible Complexity is not an argument. It was destroyed at the Dover trial. Next, your statement regarding organs is flawed. It's just one change out of potentially hundreds of thousands. That's what your falliciously labled macro-evolutuion is. Many smaller changes adding up over the eons. It doesn't take a scientist to understand much of what science teaches, just someone who is actually literate. Religion promotes ignorance.

  • lol see the problem with athiests is you always see anyone refuting you especially a religious person as illiterate which i am not or uneducated which i am not and ignorant again you get the picture, but there are some VERY INTELLIGENT christians out there more interestingly some who you used to think like you yet well lets just say got smart lol no offense but you seem to have no trouble bashing religious people, anyway you all have so much hatred for us yet u never wnt to admit it@NUTCASE71733

  • @HTBPFilms

The "problem" with Atheists is that we are able to recognise a stupid argument. Even when it is presented articulately by an otherwise intelligent person

  • back to point 1 you consider any religious argument as ignorant@TheOmegajuice

  • @HTBPFilms

Well feel free to present an argument that is not based on ignorance, or invalid, or simply based on lies and half-truths.

Until you can do that your complaints are empty and nothing more than whinging.

I criticise bad arguments from anyone no matter what stance they are arguing from. Do you accept any arguments that challenge your position? Or reject any that would potentially support it?

  • @HTBPFilms there is a gigantic problem with your above statement because you used an oxymoron. You said a 'very intelligent christian'. That statement in itself is a contradiction.

  • @HTBPFilms Exactly how does a "very intelligent" person come to believe virgins can have babies and dead people get up to walk and talk and make breakfast for their buddies? On what bases do "very intelligent" people conclude magic is real if you just call it supernatural or a miracle? What makes a "very intelligent" person think that some 2000 year old desert dwellers knew more about reality than we currently do? Your just upset because we call stupid ideas stupid, that's not hatred.

  • Faith...thats how "Hope of things not yet,Evidence of things not seen@milkman5547

  • @HTBPFilms Faith as in faith in Allah, Faith in the Kami, faith in Buddhism, faith in Hinduism. LOL Yeah very intelligent people believe in magic through pure faith, reality be damned. ",Evidence of things not seen" is not what you mean, to be accurate you should say ",Evidence of things NEVER seen" which isn't evidence at all. Faith isn't an answer to my questions, it's a just word meaning you believe in some fantasy. Lots of little girls have faith in Harry Potter, are they "very intelligent"

  • so your basis for your argument is "because there are many views not one is right" isnt athiesm a view isnt athiesm a believe based on what you think is evidence , we think we have evidence to , every time we see a demon yes some of us have seen them me personally i have seen one face to face , you can call me anything u want i still know and have witnesses to what i saw regardless of what is right our reality is more then physical there definently is a spritual place,Jesus is truth@milkman5547

  • @HTBPFilms I'm not doubting you saw what you think you saw but the best explanation is it was some sort of psychosis. Look up quantum entanglement, that's a bit of reality that is truly magic, how do I know it's real? It can be tested and measured. I reject religion because the myths come from unworldly ancient men who would have thought a light bulb was magic. You confuse emotional dependence with spirituality. I am an Atheist yet I feel spiritual connections, just none to your fantasy.

  • like i said i had witnesses which rules out psychosis the witnesses didnt believe such things exsisted well they do now XD@milkman5547

  • @HTBPFilms I'm very sure that if you go to any major university and conjure up a demon they will be very interested in studying it. How could anyone doubt they are real after you and another person both saw one? Come to think of it, tens of thousands of believers flop around on the floor and speak gibberish, perhaps you could try that and see of the demon communicates with you. I bet demons feel very misunderstood, like Casper the Friendly Ghost. After all they work for the worst boss ever. :-)

  • LOL if you only knew oh well you will one day :)@milkman5547

  • @HTBPFilms " if you only knew oh well you will one day" says a person that can't prove they know anything beyond fairy tales with magic men and talking donkeys. "Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish." ~ Euripides

  • @HTBPFilms I saw a demon as well once, Terrified the living shit out of me. Even though i knew it was just a dream, granted the most horrifying one that had me screaming to god to save me... I accepted it as being somewhat real, or that something put an influence over me to make me see that.

But now I accept it for what it really was, just a dream.

When your mind is set on God/miracles/satan you see these things everywhere you look. But they aren't actually there.

  • lol your brain isnt magic haha now tell is it because thats your mind set that you see something or is it because SOMETHING WAS THERE that you see something thats like saying my mind is set on reality so i see reality EH WRONG thats an excuse so you dont have to face things you cant explain with science plus i had 3 witnesses who didnt believe in god or have the mind set of god once again brilliant athiest logic GOTTA LOVE IT@GhostInTheShell29

  • @HTBPFilms You can explain dreams with science. So yeah no I think I'll continue my believe that it was just a dream, seeing as this happened while I was asleep.

Its not hard to face things that can't be explained with science they are called mysteries.

  • @milkman5547 To add to your question: What makes that same "very intelligent person" have "better morals" when they answer to a "god" who promotes each and every sort of social phobia (i.e: homophobia, phobia of other races (can't think of the name for that)), infanticide, genocide.. And just pure hatred toward others? How do they have "superior morals" when they make others sexuality their 'business'!??!?!!? Sorry to hijack your "question", but when I read it, it made me think of the above...

  • @HTBPFilms The very reason (of many) we 'bash' theists is because they make BS accusations against us. How is it "acceptable" to be a narrow-minded, bible-thumping, "I hate the gays and blacks and anyone who blasphemes", to speak up and out, but "NOT OK" for Atheists to go on with our lives, being non-believers?!?!?!? Plus, they make such ridiculous claims, that they demand to be "true", and others BELIEVE THEM!!!! "Earth is less than 6K years old".. SERIOUSLY!!?!? That's "intelligent"!?!???!?!

  • The very reason (of many) we 'bash' atheists is because they make JUDGMENTAL accusations against us REAL christians WHO DO NOT HATE GAYS, WHO DO NOT HATE BLASPHEMERS, WHO DO NOT HATE ANYONE for that matter JESUS CAME TO SAVE ALL MEN as such christians he DEMANDS we love ALL HUMAN BEINGS BUT HATE SIN we are not ALLOWED to treat others bad based on there sin but we can't just sit here and say its right to be gay, blaspheme, evil thats our freedom of religion plus u act like pompus jerks@eajoseph217

  • @HTBPFilms Then you know different "Christians" than I do. The ones I know like to start off statements with: "not to judge... BUT" ("BUT I'm going to judge, anyway" is what they SHOULD say!)

  • if your going to say all christians are the same than all atheists are the same YOU KNOW FALSE christians if actually read the instructions we are given in the new testament you would know just as we have been redeemed we must show mercy and give redemption to others " freely you have received ..freely give" Matthew 10:8@eajoseph217

  • @HTBPFilms You real christians are just another denomination of liars and fakes. You moderates or progressives are just as guilty as the extremists or fundamentalists. Imagine saying - "I am a moral and tolerant person. I try to live right and have sense in how I treat my fellow man. Etc. I'm also a Nazi. I have a copy of Mein Kampf on my coffee table. I have a swastika necklace. I have a bracelet that says WWHD. Those other people aren't real nazis. Don't judge me because of them.

  • wow so every atheist is guilty of the same thing since hitler used evolution as an excuse to murder also he also said the christian thing was a veneer to get people to listen to him however he was not a christian whats that? no atheist are associated with evolution hmm thats like saying "I am a moral and tolerant person. I try to live right and have sense in how I treat my fellow man. Etc. I'm also a Nazi. I have a copy of Mein Kampf on my coffee table. YOU HAVE MORE HATRED THAN US@MrSolarWind

  • @HTBPFilms Yes, but you believe and follow a Doctrine that says if a person does not believe in ur God then he/she is going to hell for eternity and ur okay with that. And one could argue that, as a Xtian, u should hate gays, judge nonbelievers etc. Jesus came to save but ALSO to divide.....who are the nonbelievers but the Antichrist? Read ur Bible and stop trying to make a hatefilled religion seem ok or loving....it aint.

  • lol i have read it and i am no okay with hell but i am not god people have to much pride in your world you want good to be your good well god is perfectly good he knows absolute righteousness and we don't comprehend that he made hell for the devil all he asks from us is to believe he sent his son so all it would take is faith not to go there and god should punish us men are evil no one is good but MEN CHOOSE TO GO THERE your choosing to go there you know the way and don't follow@julzabro

  • @HTBPFilms If U r not ok with hell y do u worship a god that sends people there simply 4 disbelief? IF u're god really knew "absolute righteousness", He wouldn't condemn people 2 hell 4 eternity simply 4 using logic n reason. This is not righteousness nor is it Just! Try believing in Zeus, fairies or leprachauns right now. Can't do it? What if I said u were goin 2 hell cuz u don't/can't just believe in those things? I'm not choosing hell, I simply don't believe in it.

  • @HTBPFilms If you don't behave in certain bad ways, as a christian, that doesn't let you or your religion off the hook. You are still endorsing that religion by identifying with it, and you are protecting it in hibernation for the next person to interpret it differently...worse, that is. If you don't do certain bad things yourself, but are religious, you are still helping the thing that creates bad things in people in general.

  • Wow.. Shiloh Baptist didn't even one single thing on that sign right!

  • @LycaonsBane Alright, good luck with that! :D

  • @LycaonsBane I don't think he will snap into logic. I mean, he thinks atheism is a religion, and that we have to prove atheism. He is not very open-minded, so you are probably wasting your time.

  • @LycaonsBane You're naming religions that are only part of 2% of the world. Of course I don't know what they are. However, Christianity is one of the most peaceful religions out there and it shines pretty bright in comparison to other countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, hell even secular ones like France and Greece. Please, do a little more research before pulling facts out of your ass.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Christianity a peaceful religion? My ass.

  • @LycaonsBane Jesus risen from the cross. That's all the proof there is. Besides, why would I want to believe in a religion where a bunch of terrorists are trying to kill us?

  • Basically, the church's message is "how dare people think and try to find answers! They need to close their ears and minds off to all ideas that do not involve gawd!!!1!11!!one"

Fucking idiots. I live in a similar hell hole. Myself and the 15 or so atheists are VERY loud about it though.

  • @LycaonsBane Well what proof do they have that the bible is wrong? And also, what testimate are we talking about? I'm more fond of the newer one.

  • @LycaonsBane Hey these jerks are telling me that the bible is a fairy tale and trying to convince me that what i believe in is wrong. So I am asking them for proof and evidence that their claim is correct. Soo far, nobody did that and all they are doing is name calling and doing the standard atheist stereotype (insult the intelligence of creationists). When you argue with these morons for a long enough time, you start getting sick and tired of the same old arguments.

  • @LycaonsBane Then atheism is no different from any other false religion because it's all based on faith. Didn't the world start somehow? What caused the big red fireball to create the Earth? What caused galaxies to be created? What caused the universe to exist? You see, there is no proof and evidence of atheism, it's just blind faith.

  • Someone has clearly graduated to the advance class of fail

  • its sad because Evolution (white guy black woman or whatever) has a baby it is immediatly different then the average white or black person. evolution is slapping people in the face and they ignore it.

  • @resinated666 Haha, that was good. I have to admit I really did scratch my head for a minute at that one. Did you ever see the one with the guy asking "How could an African-American man evolve from a White man? We got different skin!" Delightful to see our youths can be both religious, stupid, and mildly racist.

  • sarcasm btw

  • OMG DOES THIS MEAN I DONT HAVE TO PAY TAXES? IF SO IM DEFINATLY PART OF THE ATHEISM RELIGION

  • lol sure atheism is a religion its the religion of "reality" not "fantasy"

  • That is soo freakin funny and it's true. HAHA thanks for the laughs and God bless America. xD

  • Shouldn't it read:

    RELIGION IS BRAINWASHING

    EVOLUTION IS SCIENCE

    PRIESTS ARE PEDERASTS

    GOD IS A MYTH

  • i have seem some very dumb church signs, once i saw one that said, "on your knees is your best position" i guess they meant prayer, but it had a sexual double message to it.

  • atheism is actually a religion its a set of people with beliefs yes beliefs in something that doesnt involve a god is a religion

  • @nevortrevor Religion equals belief in a higher power. Atheism doesn't do that at all, therefore, not a religion. There are no other "beliefs", just cold hard logic.

  • @Phaiyte I don't know man. Atheists believe that Darwin as the "higher power" man, and they act like Scientists are all priests who we should listen to more than anyone else. Atheism is just a humanoid religion.

  • @gamefreak1000000 None of them believe anything to be a "higher power". If they do than they are not atheist. It's that simple. You can't really just lump everyone into a backhandedly generalized group like that. Just like I wouldn't say that all Christians are pretty much just the leeches of society to the equivalent of illegal immigrants. People listen to scientists because they generally know exactly what they're talking about and not pretend they have an imaginary friend to "help" them.

  • @Phaiyte Like the Scientists who think that the world was created by a bang or the fact that we magically transformed into humans? Yeah they definitely know what they're talking about. >.>

  • @gamefreak1000000 Certainly, you must believe that the planet earth was created in 6 days, whilst millions of other galaxies, stars, and planets were created in one day. You probably also believe that the plants were made before the sun, and light was made before stars. Do you also believe in fairies and talking snakes? Who said that we were "magically transformed into humans"? Nobody. What makes an invisible man more credible than the Big Bang? You definitely know what you're talking about...

  • Okay, if you atheists believe that you're right, then answer my question. What proof, and evidence, do you have that Atheism is ACCURATE and CORRECT. If you can actually answer this question and not avoid it, than I might actually turn to the humanoid religion. However, that is highly unlikely since you atheists have no proof, therefore, I will stay as a Christian.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Why would God make the entire universe out of nothing, but suddenly need a pinch of dirt and a rib in order to create a woman? That's what they would call "witchcraft" back in the old days I'm sure. Why is it just as much of an "abomination" to eat crustaceans as it is to be homosexual? I don't know about you but I fuckin' love me some shrimp and lobster. God can fuck off if he thinks I'm giving that up.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Everything Christians have ever thrown out as a defense has been proven dead wrong. Tons of great men such as Galileo, Sigmund Freud, Einstein, our USA founding fathers, so many cool people I'd like to meet. If there is a heaven and hell, then these guys probably probably in the hell region. Because that's apparently where all the cool people are.

  • @Phaiyte You're a FUCKING idiot! Our founding fathers WERE FUCKING CHRISTIAN! ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID? YOU'RE LIKE THE 100TH MORON I ARGUED WITH WHO SAID THAT OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WERE ATHEIST. THEY FOUNDED THIS COUNTRY BASED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. HOLY SHIT DUDE LEARN YOUR FUCKING HISTORY BEFORE PULLING FACTS OUT OF YOUR ASS.

You see, the stupidity of atheists and atheism is the reason why I will never join you guys. You can't even prove that atheism is accurate and correct.

  • @gamefreak1000000 hahaaaaa caps lock. you're so mad! If they "found this country based on christianity", then why does one of the amendments include the separation of church and state? If they were such hardcore christians, they'd have been shoving it down everyone's throat. Proof that the US wasn't founded on Christianity is found in the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796. Also I never said they were atheist. Most of them were Deists. Which is definitely not Christian. Any other retarded claims?

  • @gamefreak1000000 Proof of atheism is accurate and correct? You must be a little confused here. First off, I'm the one NOT believing in the presence of the mystical being you call God. The burden of proof is on religion, because they are the ones making the claim. We are the ones not accepting the idea because of the lack of proof. And I'm not avoiding the question, it is just another argument from ignorance many creationists use. I also find it ironic how you called this a "humanoid religion".

  • @KungFuzzled See, you can't prove atheism to be accurate and correct, so you must resort to the same old tiresome argument that all the other dumb atheists make. You HAVE no proof and evidence that Atheism is accurate and correct. Otherwise, you would be able to prove it to me. Just as I have thought, atheists are full of hot air!

  • @gamefreak1000000 How am I supposed to prove that atheism is accurate and correct? Your stupidity amazes me. Once again, atheists have NOTHING to prove, because it is LACK OF supernatural beliefs; get that through your little head. Your idiotic comment that "you will remain Christian until atheism is proved accurate and correct" is completely invalid, because, once again, the burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim. Are you expecting somebody to disprove God?

  • @KungFuzzled So then Atheism is based on faith? You have no proof and evidence that atheism is accurate and correct and you even claimed it. So why should I turn to Atheism if there's no proof and evidence that it's accurate and correct? You might want try again.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Atheism based on faith? Please give me a break. Go back to listen to Ray Comfort and him "proving God" with a banana, maybe that will make you feel better, because you surely think like him. This conversation will end up nowhere, because they stuck ideas in your little head fairly well. You don't dare question your silly little ideas, which means you really can't think for yourself. I never claimed to prove atheism correct, I presume you expect me to disprove God.

  • @KungFuzzled Well you're trying to convince me that atheism is accurate and correct, so in order for me to believe you, I need proof and evidence. If you can't provide proof and evidence that atheism is accurate and correct, then why should I believe anything you have to say? I CAN think for myself, and I asked myself what made the universe. Now I didn't need to use the bible to think (I used common sense). Out of all particles that made each piece of the universe, what created them all?

  • @gamefreak1000000 You never answered my question.

  • @KungFuzzled I already answered it.

  • @gamefreak1000000 You expect us to disprove God. I asked you if you believe in mythological creatures. You didn't answer the question.

  • @KungFuzzled I DON'T believe in myths because they don't exist. God however, DOES exist. There has been many things that almost got me killed in life. Sometimes, a miracle happens when certain death was about to happen. How do you explain those moments?

  • @gamefreak1000000 Ok. Let me get this straight; you are not atheist, because we can't prove "Atheism is accurate and correct". That would make me assume that you are referring to us not being able to disprove God. You still believe in God, despite the fact that he hasn't been proven. On the other hand, you don't believe in fairies, and unicorns. My point here is, we have not proved that those creatures don't exist, but that doesn't mean they do exist. Your argument is invalid.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Also, hundreds of other Gods have not been disproven either. Why don't you believe in those Gods? Funny, how you only apply this argument to the God you were taught to believe in, disregarding everything else. I have yet to see proof that your God exists, and your "near death" experiences are no argument towards your God. I don't know what happened, I wasn't there, but the fact that you survived doesn't mean it was a miracle. Whatever happens, happens.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Can't tell if trolling... Or just incredibly stupid.... Myths = God, you can't prove either one doesn't exist, and yet you also can't prove either does exist. take evolution.... it has been proven multiple times, and is real and tangible. The bible, on the other hand, is a collection of jargon from a few thousand years ago

  • @gamefreak1000000 The thing is .. The god hypothesis do not make any testable predictions. You cannot test for a god, so what is the difference between a god that exists and a god that doesn't exist? We can't test for god because assuming he exists, he doesn't have any impact on reality. If he did, it would be testable and there would be no controversy. So why not just take the standard position of disbelief untill actual evidence is provided, like you do with all other claims in general.

  • @nejtilsvampe Because it's all based on faith. Kind of the same faith that atheists who don't have proof that atheism is right. They have faith that their claim is right. Well, I have faith that God DOES exist. Besides, it makes sense that he exists because the universe didn't create itself. There obviously is something out there that created everything including itself. That is where my faith comes in. I believe that creator is God himself.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Atheists don't have faith. We have LACK of faith, unless you want to claim that you have "faith" that santa doesn't exist.

But you didn't answer my question. My question was what difference does it make if god does or doesn't exist..? He isn't changing reality at all, otherwise it would be testable. Atheists don't have to prove anything because we don't hold the burden of proof, for the same reason we don't hold theists responsible for disproving the flying spaghetti monster.

  • @gamefreak1000000 They actually have proof of everything they claim. Christians don't. Maybe you should become a little more informed before you make yourself seem even more ignorant.

  • @Phaiyte Majority of Scientists believe in God, so you're just making yourself sound like a fucking idiot.

  • @gamefreak1000000 That means literally nothing. You don't have to be an atheist in order to know how science works. As long as all of your work is done without just assuming "God did it", because no real scientist will ever accept that as a real answer. Show me proof of your invisible sky wizard and I'll be a believer forever. I'll even quit eating crustaceans and quit working on Sundays in order to avoid being stoned to death.

    Description of Appeal to Authority

An Appeal to Authority is a fallacy with the following form:

Person A is (claimed to be) an authority on subject S.

Person A makes claim C about subject S.

    Therefore, C is true.

This fallacy is committed when the person in question is not a legitimate authority on the subject. More formally, if person A is not qualified to make reliable claims in subject S, then the argument will be fallacious.

    In short: you're an idiot

  • @christallh24 I'm not an idiot, that would be you. I don't care about the Appeal of Authority nor do I know why that's even relevant. However, I can tell most atheists are dumb closed minded individuals who are very hypocritical most of the time, so no big surprise.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Prove atheism is accurate and correct? Stop watching Shock of God already. Seriously, the guy is literally an inch away from a downright troll. In fact, I'm tempted to call you a poe based on the ridiculously fallacious statements you've made up to this point. SOME of the founding fathers were Christian, but not all; even those that were realized a theocracy was not something that would allow the fledgling country to thrive.

  • @gamefreak1000000 Not to mention it would be highly appreciated if you stopped the ad hominem statements. Atheists are one thing and one thing only--atheist. It's fascinating to think you can categorize a highly diverse group of people as being mainly dumb and closed-minded. Did you ever stop to consider the many reasons why people profess a lack of belief? Or did you just assume they all must want to sin and curse your god's name? When you let your ignorance show, few bother to listen.

  • @gamefreak1000000 The problem with disproving God, is that I can't disprove something that hasn't been proven, nobody can, and it is something you don't seem to understand. I'll ask you a question to make a point. Do you believe in leprechauns, unicorns, goblins, or any other creature that hasn't been proven?

  • So, if evolution isn't real, how does your body become augmented with everything you do? How do we get stronger, faster, and more flexible if we work out a lot? How in the hell do we heal our own wounds without doing anything to them? Take notes guys, that's evolution happening right in front of you. An organism adjusting to it's setting in order to improve it's own ability to sustain existence. That is the definition of evolution.
