@SssFiressS even if it never gets made, Craig Bartlett (the creator) said that he intended for Helga and Arnold to date (after the jungle movie), break up (but still be friends), and then get back together because "Arnold and Helga are meant for one another." I loved this ship, I really wanted them to get together. I heard had there been a second film they would have too, sucks it never happened. Hey, this discussion is getting into Chuckie/Angelica from Rugrats, funny enough I also shipped them together. Wished they had done an episode where they flashed forward to the future to show who got together in Rugrats, show them have kids blah blah blah.

Millhouse stalks the 'toon equivalent of Craig's wife--that being Lisa Groening, the inspiration for Lisa Simpson--and Lisa herself comes up with Helga's mad love for Arnold, which in turn may've assisted in the way Angelica picks on Chuckie with Harold as her lackey, much like her mom Charlotte with her dad Drew & Charlotte's underling Johnathan, since Craig assisted Paul Germain in creating Angelica when writing for Rugrats.
But I guess Hey Arnold & Rugrats are similar in that aspect, because besides both being worked on by Craig Bartlett (as creator & writer, respectively) the two toy with fans' perceptions. They've main ships, such as Arnold/Helga (throughout the series) and--reportedly--Tommy/Kimi (as per "TP+KF"), yet toy with others, such Curly/Rhonda, Harold [HA]/Patty, Harold [HA]/Rhonda, Chuckie/Susie, Chuckie/Angelica, Harold [AGU]/Angelica, etc.
Platonic is a bad choice for this. It means friend-love. They're so much a couple it's not even funny. Just because they didn't officially end up as one in The Jungle, though that upsets me still, they're obviously supposed to end up together. Too many hints show it.

@Makilore yea but the thing is if it does go through the actors are all grown up and wont be able to make the voices anymore. considering they were all kids when they did the series. i mean arnold had like 4 different voice actors throughout the series. but i still hope and maybe they can still do the voices. haha

actually i like all of her songs it's hard to choose, but the one's i like is white houses, heroes and thieve the title track to her latest album and actually all the songs on that album are like wow. so yeah but any song is good i guess as long if goes with an episode. or you could married with the one feat stevie that's reallu good too. but whatevers good it's fine. nessaholic forever!lol.

you and me both flower318. i've always play vanessa carlton for hey arnold cause believe they have this connection in a way i know it sounds crazy, but it was the time the movie came out and i wanted a jiggy song for arnold and then this came on and all i thought was arnold! i know it's silly, but hey that's my thought, Arnold and Vanessa forever!

I have the single version, and this is one of my all-time favorite songs! It makes me think of my friend Leah, who graduated from high school the year before I did. I love her dearly, and miss her very much. I hope she comes back soon.
Did I also mention that I'm a huge Hey Arnold fan, even though I'm 23? Thanks so much! A great video for a great song, for a great show!
