In 1974, when I worked for the Royals, I used to go up to the computer room and hang out. The typical motion image was of a rough graphic of a baseball flying into an graphic image of a glove and the words "you're out" would dance accross the scoreboard. That required 10,000 keypunch cards and weeks of preperation to accomplish on a compter the size of Two school hall lockers standing back to back.
