  • @theNico0000 There are people suffering, but you think that it is someone else's job in govt to help them out. Govt can't help anyone without first taking it from someone else. This is immoral and plain theft unless it is voluntary help. The people you criticize, give more to charity and to help less fortunate than all the liberals combined. Liberals want OTHER people's money to help out. Oh, this is America we are supposed to stand on our own 2 feet and be self-reliant. It just isn't govts job!

  • I'm with you on the Sarah Palin and Glenn beck idiocy, I dislike those retards as well. Best way to help the unemployed: End government working restrictions, take the money out of the government so the private sector can invest (I mean don't take it in the first place, not give tax dollars to companies), end the wars, war on drugs included (allow selling), there's just too many government job killing programs to post in 300 characters.

  • Hello, I am interested in how they are supposed to stand up for the unemployed. what should they do?

  • Great comments & vid.on ALL AMERICANS needing jobs. A lot of the points went way over the heads of the teabaggers, which is typical. The Koen bros are funding the teabagging movement, & the useful idiots act like the teabagging party is for the "real Americans". LOL!

  • So if we kick you down some cash you will vote with us? Isn't that how you got where you got?

  • OK, if the tea party is for constitutional spending only, and lowering all tax burden, and you keeping your money, not the gov. taking 30%, you could pay your own unemployment, because you have the ablility to save!! not taxed to death!!! Tea Party is about the individual keeping more of their own money to save, and also to give to charities and help their fellow americans! How is that not standing up for the poor, if they have money to invest back in their own communities!!! NOT D.C.!

  • I could be wrong, but you have a house to live in, a computer, internet, and the time to put videos on youtube. I don't think you represent the dynamic you're speaking on behalf of, sir. I think you're a liberal douche.

  • How is wanting you to pay less tax and wanting business to pay less tax which gives them more money to make more jobs not standing up for you?

  • Many in the Tea Party movement are struggling too, friend. They recognize that we are all in this together and that our government is NOT the answer to our problems but rather the problem itself. It's getting in the way of jobs creation and its regulations are chasing companies overseas.

  • @freesia0 Regulations are in place to protect workers and consumers. I guess you'd prefer to not have these protections and just let corporations fuck us all. If you like that type of America I suggest you move to Mexico or some other fucked up third world country who doesn't give a shit about its people.

  • You strike me as an honest man, I can respect that. I would vastly prefer a job as opposed to unemployment. I support tyhe Tea Party because they want me to work , as oppesed to me getting paid not to.. Get the Feds off our backs and let us get back to helping each other.

  • Get government out of the way of business, businesses will do more business, which will create more jobs for the unemployed to gain employment and then they won't need government to steal from someone else to give it to them.

  • @JamSession37 Our government "steals" our money to use for wars, give aid to other countries and insane amount of waste. I prefer to have my tax dollars help a fellow American; it's a shame that you and people like you don't.

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7 Where did I support the things you rail against? I'm not for war, foreign aid, or waste. I am also quite charitable with my money. But thanks to providing further proof most new yorkers have their heads up their asses.

  • @JamSession37 So what do u want ur tax dollars to be spent on? There's a role for government & taxes; both should be used for the common good. I have absolutely no problem with my taxes being used to help my fellow man when they are down on their luck and need help. If you're so "charitable" with your money then you shouldn't mind some of your tax dollars being used to help people out. BTW - Most New Yorkers are A LOT smarter than you; we read while you listen to right wing radio.

  • @NYC I don't want money taken from me through coercion spent on much at all, especially at the federal level. The government's role is to protect our natural rights, not to take them or the fruits of our labour away. If the gov wasn't in the way of business many less people would be down on their luck. & it should my choice who and how I help them. Private charity is superior to gov handouts as they are more efficient and provide true help.Your condition needs fixed before you suffocate yourself

  • People should not be paid for doing absolutely nothing because there are too many people willing to take advantage of it.

I have cleaned elderly homes for free. I have also picked up litter for free. If I can do it for free, others can do it for a job. If you work for something, you will appreciate it more than if it is just given to you.

And to sciencemunk above, we have not all been hi-jacked by Neo cons. I am a fan of RP for the most part. I'm not sure of some of his libertarian views.

  • I'm a Tea Partier. Think about this. If either party made E-Verify mandatory, we would have way less people searching for work. Only Legal citizens need apply.

Also, I know several people who have bragged to me that they receive unemployment but they also know how to "game" the system, by filling out the required job applications in a way that they won't be called. If someone is willing to work, even if it means picking up litter, or cleaning houses for the elderly, they should be paid.

  • Get a clue. Giving benefits to the unemployed. Redistributing the wealth. Raising taxes on the wealthy, successful and those who earn their money.

That takes away the incentive to work. That makes more and more people dependent on the government. That will turn America into a socialist country.

The writing's on the wall. READ IT.

  • @CasperCee There is nothing wrong with helping out your fellow man with unemployment. Hell most rich corporations ship jobs overseas so they can increase profits by paying foreigners low wages. That leaves a lot of hard working Americans who just want t a decent wage shit out of luck. When people get unemployment it helps the economy, those people don't save that money, they actually have to spend it, ie, put it into the economy. This helps the businesses around them which creates jobs.

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7

People not having money to buy what they want and need leads to businesses cutting prices in order to sell. This leads to less or negative profits, which leads to more unemployment and businesses closing down. This leads to deflation and could lead to depression.

  • @CasperCee So are u saying if u don't give those people unemployment the economy will be better? I guess you'd rather have ur tax dollars wasted on wars and other bullshit politicians use our money for than to help your fellow man which ultimately helps out small businesses. Our economy is based on people spending money. In a bad economy those who have money tend to hold on to it as much as possible; at least poor people and those on employment put the little money they get into the economy.

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7 There are jobs to be found. They might not be the kind of work they want, but there is work all over.

Rich people spend their money, whether the economy is good or bad. People who live off unemployment don't have enough money to spend to stimulate the economy.

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7 Please get out of the world of liberal stupidity. When more people are on unemployment, less people pay taxes and have money for spending. They don't have the money to spend frivolously, only to buy the necessities. They can buy only what they need, not what they want.

  • @CasperCee The stupidity here is u thinking there are jobs out there for everyone as if many jobs being sent overseas. There aren't jobs for everyone so there has to be some welfare/unemployment. U need to wake up to the real world & not right wing radio. I don't mind my tax dollars being used to help out Americans who are down on their luck. Better that then using it to help other countries or wars, etc. At the very least welfare/unemployment puts money into the economy and lessens crime.

  • @NewYorkCityUSA7 Stupidity is thinking that government money or aid is going to help the economy. There are people all over the United States in big and small cities alike, that don't work and live off the government. There are wealthy people in Mexico who come to America and claim they are single parents unemployed living here to get food stamps, free medical aid & take advantage of our government. Our government has been screwing our country for decades.

  • Who is calling you lazy? I haven't heard anyone say that unemployed people are lazy. The tea party IS standing up for you by fighting the corruption and spending that has put us in this situation.

  • when congress blocks business from growing and expanding money wise on american soil, how do you expect them to pay you? What do you think businesses will do when they are told to cut back?

  • Dude. Change the batteries in that smoke alarm.

  • The pproblem with increased goverment spending to help people under the Keynesian model is that when it comes time to cut the benifits off, the economy goes into another recession. That's why benefits keep going up and still never seems to be enough. People are talking about raising taxes. The unfunded liability for just Medicare and Social Security is $41.2 trillion more than the total worth of the U.S. and the difference is climbing. Added social programs just increase the problem.

  • I dont think you know whart you're talkimg about!

  • the solution is not more unemployment benefits, it's stopping the exporting of jobs and the importation of so much of what we consume.

  • hang in there guy ,things will get better

  • Learn to speak english, and stop asking for more benefits.

    Goddamn welfare whore!

  • CNN doesnt ever show the "Black" members of the tea party!! LAWLZ

  • whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???

  • pretty good video. i really thought this was gonna be a tea party bashing video and turned to be pretty good points.

  • This is a TAX REVOLT like the original TEA PARTY. You need to start your own revolt against unemployment and hunger.

  • Why is unemployment a necessity? There are so many programs still in existence that aren't necessity that should have been ended decades ago. Yet, the programs remain supporting those people who will in turn vote for the candidates that promise to put their support behind them. Our country prospered over 150 years through countless wars, mostly on our own soil, without unemployment, social security, or welfare. People then knew how to rely on themselves instead of their government.

  • Actually they are. I own a small business and I now can't hire anyone because I can't afford Obamacare or the "penalty." The taxes that are going to have to be raised to pay for Obama's spending spree are going to come out of the money that would have created jobs. Oh, I forgot. Obama wants me to borrow the money to pay for payroll. Guess he skipped the day in economics where they taught that you don't borrow money for anything intangible like payroll.

  • If the government would stop interfering, stop forcing unpopular socialistic laws laws thorough, stop taxing and spending excessively, business would prosper and jobs would be plentiful.

  • @leestauf You are exactly right!

  • Please reseach your facts, before running your mouth, on something you know nothing about. Please show me one time where Mr. Beck, or Mrs. Palin said out of work people were lazy.

  • The most important thing to be done for the unemployed is to get the government out of the way of the job creators. As long as the federal government keeps business contained in its Obama-approved box, unemployment will remain high. Point taken on the war spending, but the military is being kept in a box, too. You seem sincere, so thank you for your video. Please remember, as long as we allow ourselves to divided by envy, we won't unite and defeat this monstrous, destructive agenda.

  • Take an economics class

  • People are suffering horribly, their time has been wasted making YouTube video's ranting about how hard people have it. Couldn't this time been better spent actually working a job?

    The irony is laughable.

  • @hossb80

    Hahaha, true.

  • Comment removed

  • @hossb80 In your case studying the English language would have been a better use of your time.

  • let me ask you this, if taxes get raised, where does buisness go? it goes to china, which is why in the 1970's industrial america collapsed and America entered a horrible reccesion. (democrat, btw) So when we ask to cut taxes and spending, its so americans have more money. WE can start buisnesses, and employ others. thats my hope for an unemployment fix.

  • The Tea Party is about giving America back to Wall St and restoring White privilege. The Right Wing using White people's fear of Obama as cannon fodder. If you ask for assitance they call you a socialist. If our govt. wants to help people they say thats socialism. The T-Party wants poor people to commit crimes while the rich and powerful do what they want.

  • @HeadToucher lol.....thats powerful stupid.

  • @HeadToucher Not true. Tea Partiers are more than willing to give charity to those unfortunate enough not to be able to work. We just don't want it to be done thru the govt, but through individual charity.

  • Who do you think is paying for part of the unemployment benefits that are being extended? Your former employer makes a portion of those payments, therefore the longer he has to contribute means he won't be able to create new jobs. My husband and I were unemployed for a year;had to move in with my parents until we could get back on our feet. Our son can't find a job in his field, currently delivering for Pizza Hut, he is living with us until he can find a job. Rely on family;not government.

  • "who know what else...?" Sarah Palins makeup^^

  • the original tea party was Ron Paul's movement to End the Fed 2007. now it has been hijacked by the establishment republicans like Bush who impoverish us with big government. obama and bush have had the same economic and foreign policies. not to mention the patriot act. the tea party has been hijacked by the neo cons

    MSNBC=FOX=CNN

    dem = rep

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • @sciencemunk Then how is it "establishment reepublicans" like Caste, Crist and Murkowski LOST in the Republican primaries versus tea party endorsed candidates?

    Nice try though,

  • @sciencemunk Ron Paul is not what this country needs. He is clueless as to the meaning of The Constitution of the United States.

  • @bangitsmom you couldn't be more wrong friend

  • @sciencemunk people always forget that, good comment

  • @dirtbagstatus Only people that work DIRECTLY 4 the company are counted. We should not allow anyone else, because there will be mass fraud. They will count union officials, or Political employees, and escorts meant to deal with the Chinese Government! The intention is to keep campaign people from getting hired on tax money. Why would I want to pay for Sarah Palin's Or Obamas next campaign manager because a company (as they all do) created political personnel to deal with the Chinese Government?

  • I was unemployed. I lost my house and my job within a span of 6 months. But unlike Liberals and Leftists like you I don't shit on my friends. My friends helped me out, not the Government. I'm too white, and my English is too good. The fact is YOU ARE LAZY! It took some time but now I have two jobs and I'm much better off for it. Unlike you, I won't stick a gun to my neighbor's head and demand money because I'm unemployed. Suck it up and get a job. You don't have the right to steal!

  • @thomaserossi Your really showing your irrationaless. You said I'm too white? 60% of all entitlement $ go to white people! So how can you be too white? You may be to bull headed into buying the right wing fear and hate rhetoric but you are not too white. Republican Mitch Mcconnell said there ARE NO JOBS BRAGGED about it! But there are 30-46 million unemployed if all jobs where filled that still leaves 28-44 million unemployed! Be reasonable and a callous heart can't own you, Christ can.

  • unemployment extension does not help the unemployed. well at least not the overall economy. Especially when those who support this tend to not support suspending payroll taxes. If you want to decrease unemployment TAX BUSINESS LESS! don't inflate the monetary supply by giving away money to those who are not producing anything. Tax the people who EMPLOY other people less. aka capital gains, payroll, income on small business ect.

  • @Reckless3057 They are trying to do BOTH extend unemployment and tax business less. Republicans are blocking BOTH! Not one but TWO of them. And yes unemployment does help. You cant tell me my landlord is going to do anything any differently if my money comes from unemployment benefits! But when I have to borrow from my family it will cause them to NOT have extra to spend at best buy or walmart. Republicans have blocked over 8 small business tax break bills have you not noticed that?

  • @indyman77 By they i figure you mean democrats right? Ok so I will not play the who's the best party game. Honestly this isn't an issue on party, it's an economics issue. Now. NO ONE benifits from unemployment benifits but those that recieve them first, everyone, the second recievers, employers, everyone has less after each check is cashed. Check here:

    watch?v=tvzqa71plv4&feature=player_embedded

    watch?v=zMMN3UIQmEk

    watch?v=_yXINN1tD54&feature=related

To start you off and then get back to me.

  • @indyman77 do you know how to do math? do you know how many members of the Congress and Senate it takes to pass a bill? Once you find out that answer, go buy yourself some blue and red magnets...put them on your fridge and give 1 blue magnet for every dem and 1 red magnet for every repub....you will see that the dems have the numbers to pass anything they want and the Repubs can't do anything about; it except in the senate becuz of Brown's election...so who is blocking legislation again??

  • @HoosierMP It takes between 51 and 60 to pass a bill in the Senate, depending on the situation. Did you know that? If just one Senate objects to a bill being brought to the floor it takes 60 not 51 votes to over come it. There are 57 Dems, 41 Reps, and 2 Independants. 80% of the time it has taken 60 votes to over come the Rep, filibusters. 99% of the time it was a REPUBLICAN. Remember that song I'm just a bill? Well to repeal a bill it also takes 60 votes. Dems do NOT have enough votes!

  • Your thought process and it is intelligent and well articulated. Here is my counter. I am a sub par worker without a college degree. I have never been without a job. I don't have much in the way of marketable skills. I have taken jobs as technical support (no tech skills reqired), television sales, McDonalds shift manager, night janitor, pizza deliver etc. Are you telling me that there are NO jobs available for the unemployed if they were willing to move or take a job they consider beneath them?

  • @leftydanvball Mitch Mcconell Republican minority leader already told you there are no jobs. You know how to do math right? If there is 30-46 million unemployed. And only 1.3 million jobs. That means MOST cant get a job. If your overqualified you will NOT GET A CALL BACK! It's better to have NO experience than be over qualified. I WISH I could get television sales, a tech support, Night Janitor! I have applied to them (MANY!) when I call and ask about it they say I'm overqualified.

  • This is the dumbest thing I've seen in weeks. I think I'm not a little bit stupider for witnessing it.

  • Word Up Brotha!!!

  • our drastic tax cuts are going to also fix the economy also. reagan said it would work and it did. but the congress spent all the revenue they got from that.

we know it works because JFK said it would work. when it was tried it did work. it fixed the recession.

  • also she broke up the oil companies and the alaskans collectively own the resourses and get royalties for them.

we wanna drop the irs and have a flat tax rate across the board of 10%

i wouldnt call sarah palin a loudmouth. she's done more for the people of alaska in 2 and a half years than ANYONE DID in congress in 50 years

we are against unemployment. we are against LONG unemployment benefits. if you have not heard but people are applying for jobs and not taking them to keep da benefits.

  • i think by standing up for the unemployed people if we take power in the house in the senate. we are going to drastically lower taxes which will fix everything.

you dont know about sarah palin. sarah palin is one of teh best people we have in our history....

she cut property taxes for alaskans by 75% SHE CUT 75% MAN ! NO ONES DONE THAT EVER !

she took money from oil revenue and put it into an account to acrue for awhile and gave every alaskan a check for 1200 also.

  • We're not against unemployment benefits,,,we're against printing more money and adding more debt. When that Bill came up, the conservatives wanted to use the about 40% of the stimulus Bill that hadn't been spent for unemployment. It wasn't creating jobs to speak of and it would have only taken a small part of the 300 to 400 billion left so why not use some of that instead of adding more debt? The Democrats refused and immediately claimed that the Republicans didn't care about the unemployed,

  • I take the traditional conservative view that goverment welfare programs do a lot more harm than good. I am not opposed to private charity and I believe it would do much better than the government would have.

  • Why do you think the Tea Party has any idea what they're doing. That's the last thing they're capable of.

  • dude, why do u think they are against high taxes and govt spending. because it hurts employment. businesses won't hire if they have to pay higher taxes (i.e healthcare reform)

  • Its called capitalism. The peeps that are unemployed could do almost anything to make money. Start a business sell a product... And so on. people are looking an easy way out (the federal government) when they should be looking for a way to pull themselves up and out of unemployment

  • 3. I noticed you seem upset that Palin and Beck are well off. You say they do not voice the frustrations of the umemployed. They do talk about how jobs can be created with different incentives used by small businesses. I think you have done a great job of talking about the unemployed here and need to create more. If you use this as a way to encourage others, you may have found a way to help others start their own businesses. We are not going to get far by depending others to create jobs.

  • I'll respond by using a list of observations.1. Liberal congress passed a law saying they would only pass new spending bills by reducing the budget in another area. They have not done this for the unemployment benefits. Many tea partiers believe that this is a betrayal. By bringing this to others attention, people will see the liberals as the debtors they are. The unemployment benefits have passed. 2. Many rally speakers talked about job creation and laws that are job killers.

  • Which presidents had the longest unemployment benefits extension?

1 Ronald Reagan -REPUBLICAN 3.5 years of unemployment.

2 Gerald Ford -REPUBLICAN 3.2 years of unemployment.

3 George Bush2004 -REPUBLICAN 3 years of unemployment.

Yet like the hypocrites they are they call it welfare when Obama wants it to be longer than 1.9 years! Even though they where not dealing with the worst collapse since WWII. They are doing this to sabotage the recovery, to get elected in November.

  • Why do Republicans block the bill that will show Which party members are taking money from OUTSIDE the USA? Isn't that bribery, and subversion? 100% of Republicans have voted down 4 bills will not reveal what money they are getting from outside the USA! Republicans are now voting down a fifth. Then Republicans blocked 4 bills that will stop us from paying (with tax payer money) companies to send jobs to China. HELLO PEOPLE WAKE UP! The Republican leaders are NOT like the followers (I hope).

  • @indyman77 Are you aware that Unions are exempt from that bill? Are you also aware that this will be used against grass roots organizations to keep them out of the political process and keep the incumbancy rate over 90% and it will be business as usual.

  • Comment removed

  • WE do NOT need more unemployment benefits!

We need to change the policies so that the wage-payer will see a reason to hire.

  • Comment removed

  • you're absolutely clueless if you think that corrupt politicians are going to actually "support the unemployed." Do you have any idea what you're actually saying?

Print and borrow money to give it to the jobless?

All thats going to do is further dry up capital markets and raise inflation which will both negatively affect unemployment.

    Government isnt the answer.

  • globalism took our jobs.. the rich men of the world took our jobs from the US and gave them to China and India.. we no longer have a manufacturin' base.. it's another step towards a one world gov't.. globalism is treason.. "shall be drawn to the gallows, not walking or carried, and be hung by their necks until they are dead.." we must organize and take our country back because my friend they will NOT give up what they've stolen from us w/o a fight.. good vid, man..

  • Because we cannot afford it. Its paying people to not work with the hard earned money of others.
