  • When he said $500 mag holsters I was like WHAT!!!!!!!! DAMN DAWG!!!! (said in the voice of Tyrone from ownage pranks). Then of course he said about $15 mag holster. My started beating again.

  • Howdy! I was sold on a Springfield XDM 9MM until i watched this. Now I own a CZ 75 P07 Duty 9mm and man this gun feels good. The trigger feels unique. It's very lightweight and shoots like a lazer beam! I've set it to decocking instead of safety. Thanks for putting a CZ pistol vid together and keep the great vids coming. BTW: know of any mag extensions or higher capacity mags for my CZ P07 Duty? I thought you might have info on a custom type with 19 or more.

  • It is beautiful, thank you hickok

  • nice aimer + gun :)

  • Have you ever fired the CZ 97B? How does it compare to a 1911? Cheers!

  • Nice looking gun - any thoughts on the CZ75 Compact as a carry gun? Love to see that tested....

  • I just got a CZ75B a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I love how it feels in my hand, I love how easy it is to shoot and how easy it is to maintain.

  • @MCADJim BTW: It's much easier to remove the slide stop if, while pushing on it, you press down slightly. It'll come right off every time.

  • Hi hickok45. Please test gun in 7,62 mm,penetration of this ammo, etc.

You tested many calibers, but I have not seen 7.62 mm.

For example serbian zastava M57 handgun. I heard that the penetration of this

    ammo better than 9 mm,even from 40 S&W,45 ACP.

Compare this caliber with a few other calibers.

Awesome caliber, developed for military.I expect your reply soon.

  • Very nice and reliable gun! Like it allot! Thanks for the vid!!!

  • do one for the competition model CZ 75 SP01 Shadow Target

  • Should try CZ 97B.

  • Would you prefer the decocker version of the CZ 75? An external safety on a DA/SA pistol with a firing block is a bit ridiculous to me

  • Shot one yesterday. Solid gun, heavy with a great grip. I would prefer the model with a de-cocker. Also, it seemed like the slide release was pretty far forward (a most minor complaint.)

  • @tcorourke2007 The slide release is just like the 1911 and the Browning Hi-power the idea was that as you seated the magazine you hit the release with your support hand.

  • Then made a polymer version of this gun. I suspect it must be even nicer to shoot with reduced recoil feel.

  • i like thisss gunn

  • u sir r a Samurai grand master of the gun.now at the point where skill surpasses talent. no homo lol

  • have u tryd CF-98 pistol (chines army) Hand GUN

  • did any one notice when he was shooting the gong it was a smiley face

  • @vhl probably wouldn't do a lot, as the mentos and the open bottle would greatly eliminate any pressure the shot would make, probably just knock it over... just imagine squeezing a bottle with and without the top on, there is a lot more pressure build up in the bottle with the top on

  • i love this man he is like the perfect father to have

  • cz 82 wold be a great review really nice concealable pistol. Also great comparison video to the macorav

  • SIG P210 also has external rails, and yes, I would love to see you review one. If anyone would appreciate the accuracy of a Swiss target pistol, it'd be you.

  • What is that loader called? That looks so much easier than regular loading.

  • @hamiltoes UpLULA™ Univ. Pistol Mag. Loader from Butler Creek. They are the best IMO.

  • Hi, great vid, could I offer a suggestion? Hickok45 could you do a re-make of the handgun trials that changed the service side arm 1911 to the Beretta 92 perhaps?

Please could you get hold of a Steyr GB 9mm pistol in the process, I would love to see one shoot as some well defined targets, at a good distance on your superb range. Like the CZ 75 it is a classic, but only made in relatively small numbers and uses gas blowback in a 9mm. Please could you have a go with a 9mm Steyr GB. Cheers

  • @1:04 walking on 999,999 bullet casings

  • Guess the "CZ" mags that didn't fit where for serbian Crvena Zastava 99 series of pistols.

  • @Gungrave123 Which are "kind of but not exactly" SIG clones.

  • If you could find the time could you please try out the CZ75 P-07 or the CZ Rami P or both? They come in 9mm and 40. The P-07 is supposed to be Glock 19 size but some how they managed to make it with a 16+1 9mm magazine. The Rami P is Somewhat like Glock 26 size and holds 10+1 in 9mm, both have polymer frames. As far as your videos go, they are routine excellence! Thank you Sir.

  • Only one more thing..,VZ.58 is not "Czech version of AK" as you told...! :)

  • Hi,Mr.Hickok! Your's vids are great about important insights and fun too..! :) I'am fan.. :D

Your CZ75 must by from '90,because CZ75's from '80 was signed CAL.9 PARA and most importantly MADE IN CZECHSLOVAKIA,because We are Czech Republic since 1993.

Keep up the good work! ;-)

  • the balance on this thing is amazing. I prefer it more than a glock.

  • Check Davidson's guns to get additional magazines. Usually okay prices.

  • Underwear is Fruit of the Loom! hahaha!!

  • 3:10 - Holy hell, you made a smilie face :O

  • quick request....can you put Mentos in diet coke and shoot it? I think it'll be fun to see how tall the soda sprays after you shot at it...haha

  • tisaş zigana made in türkiye

  • My next 9mm will be the CZ75b in stainless steel for the exact reason you stated...its a classic! And one heck of a shooter to boot

  • I wonder if he will eventually get around to H&K pistols...

  • I have a cz40p and its awesome. I love my cz

  • CZ75 the best handgun design ever!!! surpasses even the great 1911 and hipower in my opinion.

  • Doesn't this model have the half cock?

  • (3:10) Smiley face!

  • I can't wait to buy any CZ 75 model, it's been 1 months i don't have a gun since i got my firearm ID.

  • @M4A108 I recommend the SP01 series. High cap that can accept a regular magazine w/ full length barrel (4.7"). On the compact I recommend the P01. My wife carries the D PCR Compact.

  • copy of Browning hi Power

  • my dad was suppose to get one soon cz 75b is awesome 16 +1 9mm i like to use sellior and bellot or Winchester herters work to whatever is brass lol

  • you have a weird thumb sir

  • Damn! I want one.

  • kto je tu cech alebo slovak nech da like!

  • @Keksomrd bosanac , al pošto se razumijemo - evo jedan like

  • I don't know if any of you fine people like comic books, but just for your information there is a series called "Gunsmith Cats" in which the heroine relies upon a CZ75 as her primary carry weapon. Just throwing it out there but if you like comics and guns the that is the series for you.

  • The czechs have always made excellent firearms, If your looking for a good carry gun you can go with the vz-82 or cz83 (improved makarov), and the vz58 puts the AK to shame.

  • After watching this video..I'm very impressed with the CZ-75.. Great shootin' there Hickok!

I'm going to get one for myself, I got to have one of these guns!

  • I was wondering, were you in the military or the armed forces???? You are a very good shot. I was also wondering if you could get your hands on an L86A1 LSW as this is the weapon I use and would like to know what you think.

  • heh when I watched this video an ad from Google covered 1/3 of the screen saying; "9mm's won't protect you"

  • i love your obsession with the 1911

  • That's a nice one.

  • Very interesting features but the manual safety and lack of a DAO version are a deal-breaker. They're behind the times in that respect...

  • BOOM BOOM hehehe BOOM BOOM BOOM hehehe BOOM

    xDD

  • Looks like these czechoslovakians know what they're doing. If I get one of these I'm going to shoot Sellier & Bellot all day out of it. Go Czech Republic!

  • smily face at 3:10 awesome!

  • how many guns do you have ? =O

  • To my knowledge the "unique" slide desing makes the gun more accurate since it has a smaller difference with the bore & sight allignments, making it to have less error, also the recoil is closer to the hand giving less muzzle rise for the gun. Also the slide might be lighter/smaller than some guns.

  • Really gd got one in turkey. Gun doesn't even know anything about heating up but I wonder where he got the magazine loader from any ideas or web sides ?

  • How do you afford all of these guns?

  • @dustin74669 He probably built them up over the years. Buying a few guns a year isn't too expensive.

  • THE BEST CZ 75B VIDEO REVIEW OF ALL TIME! Hickok you shoot better with a cz 75b than your favorite glock!

  • Funny thing is that a very popular gun made by IWI (Jericho 941) was based on CZ 75

  • @mojito510

CZ's design has been ripped off to no end since they failed to secure a patent. IMI's Jericho 941 is only one of dozens of clones.

  • The Armscor Tanfoglio MAP1 and MAPP1 series pistols (Rock Island Armory in the US) is based on the CZ75 design. Very nice to shoot, barely any recoil to it. Very accurate once you get used to it.

  • 3:09 smiley face.

  • damn, your thumb has got some crazy movement in it.

  • I love CZ 75

  • Great video. Just picked up a EAA witness p fullsize today with 3 magazines. Basically a CZ clone. Love it!

  • What is the distance on Mr. Piggy at 19:59 ? You're a crack shot! So glad folks like you make my Youtube experience awesome!

  • what does it fire cause my grand father gave me his and a cz -27 and i dont know the ammo what is the calliber

  • @zbeast97 the 27 shoots a .32 acp

  • Vz. 58 is not a variant of AK. It may look similar, but the mechanism is completely different and way more reliable than the AK.

  • Hello hickok45, would u recommend this pistol or the 1911?

  • @codgam3pl4y he would take the 1911 every time. also the czs are hard to find, but u can find a 1911 just about anywhere.

  • Hello you are planning to test DUTY CZ 75??

  • What are the differences between 75 and 75D?

  • @Jocosusjuscoso D for Decocker

  • Thanks HickOK. Very helpful review. I'll try to rent one at the range.

  • @smcombs100 I have three and they shoot great. As far as recoil it's a 9mm which is a very light recoiling round. to put it bluntly if you can't handle a cz75 you shouldn't own a gun.

  • How does this gun shoot recoil wise? i would like a full size 9 for home defense and i do want so me weight to it since i wont be carrying it. but i guess i would consider a Glock 17 or a M&P9. can anyone help me out here?

  • The magazine loading and stories are starting to be my favorite parts of these videos.

Hickok45 is the Bob Ross of firearms!

  • How easy is it to own a gun in the U.S that you can forget that you own one? Not hating, of course. Just curious. Unless the video author was playing around, in which case, fair play.... You had me convinced! :)

  • @ZeroDown88 In states besides commiefornia it's very easy. Of course hickok45 was just being his usual joking/sarcastic self.

  • @ZeroDown88 owning a gun in the US is pretty easy most states just be of age and pass a background check

  • Hickok45 for president!

  • @viralkings123 im with ya lol

  • @viralkings123 Fool, he has standards.... :p.

  • excellent and very informative review!

  • I own one cz 75b, very accurate. most accurate pistol. excellent.! just dont use gear oil in cleaning this.avoid placing oil in the extractor to prevent failure to extract. it happened to me

  • this was a fun video to watch. the cz75 is cool i wonder what they cost in California? any one know?.. hit me up mr. Hickock you always do a good video.. keep em coming

im a .45 ACP fan always have been.. always will be.. however the 9mm and the 10 milimeter are also cartridges i like to shoot often.. the 44 magnum is my favorite power house pistol round, but it's expensive to shoot. so i will save it for the Grizzlies and zombies.. and crocodiles.. ha ha ha...

  • @shootload1911 a new one will cost around $550-600 directly from CZ USA, i don't live in CA but I'm pretty sure CZ sells some models there but you have to find the 10 round mags, price wise its not as bad as most other handguns, especially if you have a .44 xD

  • Im lookin at a compact CZ75 for carry..opinions everyone?

  • 3:10 - A smiley face! Now, if you had done that intentionally @hickok45 - then you'd be TRULY amazing. In the mean time, I'll assume you are EXTREMELY lucky :-P

  • You need to use the half cock method to pop the slide pin

  • Thank You Thank you Thank you! You finally did it!

  • CZ 75 - Made in Czech Republic

  • The Witness P Carry model has the same rail system

  • I do love this gun. It was the my first gun and still one of my favorites. I have big hands and it feels like my CZ 75B was made just for me. Shoots great every time with just about any ammunition. The only thing I did was buy some fancy grips for show. This may have been mentioned, but to field strip it, it's easiest to half-cock it, then just push the slide back until you feel resistance. At that point you'll notice the notches line up. Thanks for a great review!

  • nice shot!:)

  • hes a good shot

  • you are mad about firearms ...>>> like me ( ;

  • Are CZs good weapons in general? Are they the same as the motorcycle company. They are very inexpensive at my dealer.

  • I am from Czech Republic and I am proud. :) Love this gun. Is amazing simple, accurate and nice. Greatings from Czech Republic.

  • @Sharna650 Greetings yourself. CZ's are good firearms. Wish I could find myself an old VZ54/91 mosin nagant.

I don't know why people mess with an AK if they can just get the more accurate/light VZ 58 (might be a price point/mag issue.) Take care.

  • lol Ide laugh if you do some more safe cleaning, and discover a nuclear bomb XD

  • Where could I get information on safety regarding shooting steel targets?

  • gunsmith cats =)

  • I own a CZ 75B and in a word it ROCKS! I test fired about a dozen different pistols before I bought the CZ. It's about $100.00 less than a Beretta or a Glock, and it is just as well made, if not better. I also like the fact that it is all steel and is a little heavier than most 9mm's. One of the things I don't like about Glocks, is that they are too light, they feel like toy guns. Not this bad boy! Check it out. You will not be disappointed!

  • damn it, now I have to get one of those too!

  • I love my cz 75. The grip is the best feel on a Gun I have ever felt, everyone wants to shoot it, gorgeous pistol.

  • @carlosZ1981 Same here, everyone wonders what my CZ is when I'm shooting it at the range.

  • @mehmet284 NEDERLAN FTW!

  • hickcock,How does the CZ hold up to +p and +p+ amminition?

  • 3:10 Smiley face :)

Mr. Hickok45, did you shoot in Lethal Weapon 1?

  • did any body else see the smiley face on the gong LoL

  • I have a CZ 75BD and love it!!!

  • Mr. Hickok, with those targets, to the far right, the red diamond and the one next to it, when shooting targets that look that close, wouldn't you have to worry about ricochet, fragments, etc?

  • dear mr,

i really want to meet you one please can you invite me i like to learn how to shoot like you please i'm from the netherlands i like you very much

  • Golly hickok you have a hitchhiker's thumb like no other!!

  • @breatheeasy420 i knew someone had to of pointed that out

  • Man I would not want to be on the business end of a pistol if it was in your hands lol, Ive been looking into a CZ 75 for a bit,I hear they are insanely reliable. What are your thoughts of the 9mm vs the 40 S&W? I haven't messed with 9mms much was always concerned with the put down power of the rnd.

  • 17:07 did n e 1 catch that sherman tank joke he subtly threw in there lol

  • Meg Gar makes an excellent mag for the CZ 75B. I have two CZs from 1992--used by Ostrava, Czech police. They knocked me out--20% more accurate than my Sig p. 226 stainless steel---with no more noticeable recoil, even though it is lighter (36oz) than the Sig (42oz). Guns are almost 20 years old, mechanically excellent, great trigger. I think the in-the-frame slide a a superior side design and helps reduce recoil and increase accuracy. Great gun! Bought a CZ75c for carry. It shoots great too!

  • nice vid, glad you like the CZ.

  • I'm newish to handguns. 2 things - I noticed you dry fire a lot while demonstrating...is that ok for the gun? Second, what is that little magical auto-loader thing you have to load your mags?

Lastly, have you seen the 26 round mag?

    thanks

  • @Leftyswinger you can dry fire weapons yes. Some if not most have a firing pin block that allows you to to this without hurting your pin. Now you can't dry fire some guns alot of older weapons you cannot dry fire. Rimfire weapons you can't dry fire unless you have the firing pin block. The auto loader thing he has is a speed loader it's a universal one and i can't remember the name but most gun companies make them for there models. not sure on what you mean on the 26 round mag.

  • @breatheeasy420 Thanks a lot for the good info - didn't know that!!! Here's the link to the 26 round mag:

  • this video was posted on my birthday :) great video by the way!

  • I want one of these guns...

  • In my life, I've only shot two guns...The XD 9mm and CZ 75b 9mm and although the CZ was over 10 years older than the XD and the design was even older I prefer it over the XD. I was much more accurate with it and just like hickok45 said it fits like a glove.

  • @hickok45 Fantastic! I've been real anxious to see you do a review on one.

  • @hickok45 Fantastic! I've had one for a while and I love it. I've really only seen one good review on it on youtube so I've been really anxious to see you do a video on it.

  • hey hickok you should get together with fpsrussia , his guns, and ur amazing accruacy would be just amazing

  • @therandomgunguy he has type in "FPSRUSSIA VS HICKOK45"

  • I see you are a lot more accurate with handguns than rifles. You should practice in order to become a rifleman, I think.

  • dammit Hickok, I already wanted one of these things and now here you are shooting one...great pistol though!

  • You just find guns that you didn't even know you had lying around your house?! ...Can I be your maid?

  • Hickok45 probably could get his hands on a Sherman Tank if he wanted to

  • The CZ75 p-01 will be, without a doubt, my first gun. It's made with some crazy alloy and although it is a compact gun (which I usually hate) it has 14 rounds and is NATO certified after being in trails for three years to become the new carry gun of the Czech National Police, and it has 14 ROUNDS! And it's a compact, little thing!

  • @xmmh and they shoot great too...

  • @txstang84 I've read every review on it I could find and it seems like it has no business being as accurate as it is. Have you had any experience with it? Hows the recoil of the aluminum alloy vs steel?

  • @xmmh I've shot both the P-01 (alloy compact) and a commemorative full length model. Both were excellent shooters and even with the compact the recoil is easily manageable because of the ergonomics despite it's somewhat lighter construction. It may be alloy, but you're only shooting a 9mm, and it's a very well balanced 9mm. I really have nothing bad to say about any of the CZ75 models or variants-they all shoot great and are reasonably priced.

  • @txstang84 I appreciate your input and I have heard about the legendary ergonomics, but have never held one in my hands before. I went to the Dulles Gun Expo that happened last month but I never saw a single CZ. Maybe next time!

  • @xmmh Good luck in your search-once you palm it, you likely won't wanna put it down.

  • hickok45, have you heard of the Jericho 941? It is basically a cousin to the CZ 75. If you are able to do a review on it, it would be greatly apreciated.

  • LOL...WTMI on the fruits my man...LOL

  • I handled one once, recall not caring for it... This makes me really reconsider, though. Looks slim, too. Slimmer than a 1911?

  • When I field strip the CZ 75 I put it at half cock. That way when you pull the slide back those marks on the slide and frame pretty much perfectly line up for disassembly. To get the slide stop pin out I usually tap on it with the base of a magazine. Not as easy as some newer guns but certainly doable with what's on hand.

  • wow you just put a smiley face on the gong.

  • @hickok34 I have a question... Why do you slide the rail back 2-3 time while it's empty? Is it an OCD thing or is there a real purpose? I just notice in your videos you always do it several times.

    Thanks!

  • You have probably been asked this before, but please what camera and uploading software are you using? Thanks!! Sweet shooting!

  • I hope one day i'm able to make enough money to just shoot all kinds of guns all day like you. Lucky....

  • cool, I was just reading about this gun. Nice to see it in action

  • I have an EAA Witness ( CZ clone ) .45 auto and it is a tack driver, Tanfoglio did this one right, I have long been a fan of CZ's.......Great video !!!

  • Happy face at 3:10 haha
