The rapture is when believers (the Bride) go up to be with Christ in heaven. The second coming is when He returns (with the Bride) to rule on earth for 1,000 years. Any other way doesn't seem to make sense to me. Anyone agree?
I agree totally with you about when the rapture will happen. Math. 24 a person must be careful. Jesus answered two questions in Math. 24. 1st He was answering when would the temple be destroyed, 2nd what are the signs of his coming. These are the two questions the disciples asked. People take all of Math. 24 and apply it to the second coming when a large portion is about the destruction of the temple.

But, many denomations have teachings that just have NOTHING to do with what is in the BIble, and I have no use for it and I will turn it away at the threshold with no wish of God's speed, etc. This is something hard to do, when you have a Muslim friend, etc., but if they are pushing Koran at you, then you need to do what God said to do. I think making God's commands fit what we see as fair, is our worst fault. Someone says "I just can't believe God would do that", leave off "would do that."
I try not to attack or even give constructive critisism anymore, when it needs to address a specific named church or denomination. The tendency to defend one's choice and disregard any truth, easily shown, is too frustrating and draws too much contempt. Holy Ghost , they are yours, lol. I would have to study more to have an opinion I am sure of, a stance that I would defend, but I hear him saying that we know not who among us will be the elect, but will see who at judgement day. It is also hard to see how Christ taking us and leaving others would not be just as I think of with a rapture. I need to read Daniel and Revelation, and just ask Holy Spirit to emulate good enough brain for me, lol.

The Holy Spirit is beginning to open the eyes of a selected few. If the pre trib way was correct, then Jesus would have talked about 2 second comings instead of one. From what I saw already this lady is wrong. Don't distort scripture and read it as it is written further down in Matthew 24 you will see "Then there shall be 2 in the field one shall be taken and the other left 2 women shall be grinding at the mill 1 shall be taken the other shall be left" Why does the other get left? To go through the tribulation the ones taken had the salvation from CHRIST JESUS
There are people who believe that the Holy Spirit has been blocking and holding back the antichrist . The antichrist can only come out of the closet when the restrainer is taken out of the way. Also at that time simultaneously the Christians are raptured. The thinking is that if the Holy Spirit is gone so are the Christians.

Because the God I know wrote everything out, clearly and in context, even the things not written in chronological order. And you know Jesus talks all about his return in the gospels, and from like Thessalonians on it's all pretty much warnings about the last days, and of course Revelation tells the whole story of the end.
The parable of the ten virgins is what teaches it all in one place. Virginity symbolizes purity, the lamps signify faith in Christ. These are divided by a process of selection, exactly what happens in the life of Noah *before* the Flood. Jesus said it TWICE. And since the removal of saints in Matthew 24:31 is universal, we know the virgin story has to unfold earlier. The term "Pre-Trib," however, is inaccurate. The correct term is pre-WRATH.

I'm afraid the Olivet Discourse is not in chronological order. The Judgment referred to in verse 37 occurs before verse 31, where Jesus describes His second coming. Since Noah is cited, we know that events in this passage are not linear. Instead, look at the greek words for "taken" (from the greek, "paralambano"), and "left" (from the greek "apheimi.") Paralambano means one received in an intimate relation, one not rejected. Aphiemi means one not kept, but rather discarded or let go.

The rapture and the second coming are two different things. The middle of the seven year agreement is Easter of 2012 when the pope will be set up as world emperor and the UN will begin their global depopulation and one world currency. People need to be ready and right with Jesus Christ.

Please understand that the conversation that is chronicled in Matthew 24 has nothing to do with the NT church (bride). It is a conversation that took place between Jesus, the King of the Jews, and his Jewish disciples, BEFORE the bride was ever born...and it pertains to things that will happen AFTER the bride will have left to go to the wedding. It is aboout the events of the great tribulation and the dealings of God with the Jewish people. It has nothing to do with the church.

Jesus answered two questions in Math. 24. 1st He was answering when would the temple be destroyed, 2nd what are the signs of his coming. These are the two questions the disciples asked. People take all of Math. 24 and apply it to the second coming when a large portion is about the destruction of the temple.

But, many denomations have teachings that just have NOTHING to do with what is in the BIble, and I have no use for it and I will turn it away at the threshold with no wish of God's speed, etc. This is something hard to do, when you have a Muslim friend, etc., but if they are pushing Koran at you, then you need to do what God said to do. I think making God's commands fit what we see as fair, is our worst fault. Someone says "I just can't believe God would do that", leave off "would do that."

I would have to study more to have an opinion I am sure of, a stance that I would defend, but I hear him saying that we know not who among us will be the elect, but will see who at judgement day. It is also hard to see how Christ taking us and leaving others would not be just as I think of with a rapture. There are people who believe that the Holy Spirit has been blocking and holding back the antichrist . The antichrist can only come out of the closet when the restrainer is taken out of the way. Also at that time simultaneously the Christians are raptured. The thinking is that if the Holy Spirit is gone so are the Christians.

Because the God I know wrote everything out, clearly and in context, even the things not written in chronological order. And you know Jesus talks all about his return in the gospels, and from like Thessalonians on it's all pretty much warnings about the last days, and of course Revelation tells the whole story of the end.

The parable of the ten virgins is what teaches it all in one place. Virginity symbolizes purity, the lamps signify faith in Christ. These are divided by a process of selection, exactly what happens in the life of Noah *before* the Flood. Jesus said it TWICE. And since the removal of saints in Matthew 24:31 is universal, we know the virgin story has to unfold earlier. The term "Pre-Trib," however, is inaccurate. The correct term is pre-WRATH.

I'm afraid the Olivet Discourse is not in chronological order. The Judgment referred to in verse 37 occurs before verse 31, where Jesus describes His second coming. Since Noah is cited, we know that events in this passage are not linear. Instead, look at the greek words for "taken" (from the greek, "paralambano"), and "left" (from the greek "apheimi.") Paralambano means one received in an intimate relation, one not rejected. Aphiemi means one not kept, but rather discarded or let go.

The rapture and the second coming are two different things. The middle of the seven year agreement is Easter of 2012 when the pope will be set up as world emperor and the UN will begin their global depopulation and one world currency. People need to be ready and right with Jesus Christ.

Please understand that the conversation that is chronicled in Matthew 24 has nothing to do with the NT church (bride). It is a conversation that took place between Jesus, the King of the Jews, and his Jewish disciples, BEFORE the bride was ever born...and it pertains to things that will happen AFTER the bride will have left to go to the wedding. It is aboout the events of the great tribulation and the dealings of God with the Jewish people. It has nothing to do with the church.

My friend, I know that there has always been a controversy whether post or pre-tribulation and unfortunately there is not enough space here to get deep into this, but we as Christians need to live our lives for Christ every day knowing that we are going to be with Him soon. He could very well come today, next week or 5 years from now. Also, Jesus said that He didn't know the time of His return. Also, God's Word says that the spirit of fear is not from Him 2Timothy 1:7. Good points my friend.

dont loose their salvation at all.. that is not false teaching because i know that we all dont have it right at certain things. i think a false teacher is someone that denies Christ and tells you to follow someone else , another messiah.. God bless you sis.

@Romanian97 Read Matthew 7:13-28, 2Peter 2, Jude. It's about a lot more than pointing to another Messiah. It's also about wrong doctrine taught by wolves in sheep's clothing. Men who preach Jesus, they preach Christian teachings, but if you compare them to the Bible, you see they are in fact heresies, meaning they either pervert, add to, or take away from the pure doctrine Jesus & the disciples taught. They are antichrist, against Christ's teachings.

NO RAPTURE. NO WORD IN BIBLE FOR RAPTURE EITHER. rapture doctrine came about in 1830. caught up is not rapture. and is mentioned as last trump. at last trump Jesus returns. 1st thess4:13-17, ezekiel 13:15-23 talks abotu the fly away doctrine and how GOD hates it and they will get no peace. 1st corin15:48-52. last trump is 7th what happens at 7th trump Jesus returns and when Jesus returns all flesh is done and we go to millenium then white throne judgement.

@Romanian97 1st thess4:13-17, ezekiel 13:15-23, 1st corin15:48-52. it does if you understand it. 1k years to learn from Jesus, not the lies that are around now. not in flesh either and after 1k years get white throne judgement. we are judged off what we know if if havent heard the truth of Jesus how can we be judged by what we dont know? so he comes to teach for 1k years then final judgement. we are not in flesh in 1k years of Jesus.

@Romanian97 btw peter talks about the 3 earth ages and in first earth age we were not in flesh either, 2nd earth age=fall(flesh and all that business), 3rd earth age= Jesus second coming& 1k years and white throne judgement then finally peace forever
