I'm half cuban/philippine, and i respect any and every culture in existance. There is still hate in the world and it comes in great variety. Sometimes you can't just sweet talk your way into someones hateful heart, but you have to show them that you can expect cruelty from the weak,yet gentleness from the strong; and that sometimes you have to fight to end the fighting once and for all. My parents are native and they barely set foot on the res there are two of them white earth and red lake. My dad from on my mother from the other. I grew up with native family because parents thought I was to different. I chose to befriend my native cousins and family and was hated for it. I do not look native I am slightly under a quarter. I only know I am more proud to be the small quarter than I am white. When I go to the res to visit family welcomes me. Others dont see the native and shun me
