Perch ice fishing on Cooks Bay Lake Simcoe Jan 2 2010

Thats where I fish, was there last week and boy were there dozens of them, for 30 minutes straight it was catching one after another non stop.

icecabins is the main opperator in Gilford, all others riding peters coat tails.

best spot is middle of cooks bay were that hump is we would catch tons of them and keep about 60 enough for a good meal

great shots.... who said there no PERCH in COOK'S BAY ???,...going out from Gilford side always had great luck finding good size perch check with the BLUE ICE HUTS Terry Goy ,,going south to the Holland River late ice ,end of season for crappie.

Been wondering about these things, they were in the last edition of BASS magazine. said it was good for regular or ice fishing

great video! i noticed that the perch were hotting those single hooks alot. putting a jenson egg on the treble hook would give the perch something to zero in on and you would get alot more hook ups.

sick video have you heard anything about anyone getting any lakers near cooks bay my dads friend caught 1 all year on simcoe 28lb native trout in vergina beach in 38ft of water and lots of perch all over 1lb easy
