this has got to be the best OO garden layout ever. I want to re instate mine, and I mislike up off the ground, so how did your friend construct the trackbed?
Great railway, one advantage of a garden railway is you can run full length trains and have long straights with more realistic curves and bigger layouts plus bigger bridges ! and tunnels too great stuff plus with these new digital locos you can have lit up cabs headlights even lit up coaches and colour light signals lit up buildings the possibilities are endless out doors, !!
Fantastic layout ... like watching real railways from a helicopter. I love the junction set in the grass ... with all the space the curves can be of a more realistic radius. Great clip
Hi, My friend takes in all the signals and buildings after each running session, all the signals are very old Cresent signals, which I believe were out when Hornby Dublo was around :) But if your lucky you can still pick them up at collectors fairs:)
what track did u use?

Do you leave the buildings and signal outside all the time or put them out when you run the layout. What makes do you use?

what happens when it rains?

It makes such a difference having it outside, the lighting on inside layouts makes them look wrong. Plus the real grass etc.. Very nice.

Hi, Unfortunately I cannot say, as the layout belongs to a friend of mine. It has however been in existence since the late 80's I believe.
