I agree. But this isn't donk. The sound of the hollow bass has been used in the donk genre but in a totally different style. Hard house had the donk sound long before it was used to created cheesey donk. It's hard to pigeon hole this sound its not quite hard enough for hard house but its not speed garage either.

Strictly Rhythm (by way of EMI/positiva) released a promo-run of it - WITHOUT PERMISSION, calling it a 'bootleg mix', as a spoiler. Kenny 'dope' had nothing to do with the whole affair.
this remix was massive when it came out. even though its a whitelable bootleg it was released on strictly rhythm. so you could look there. send me a message with your email address
