This video is so incredibly beautiful, as is the song. But together with the video it seems to resonate even deeper. I can never get tired of watching this.

In an interview I read, Willy Vlautin was talking about how honored he felt when Shane MacGowan turned up at one of his book readings for his novel The Motel Life. He indicated to be an admirer of MacGowan's work, so I'd say it's safe to assume that he indeed is referring to Summer In Siam.

This is great....thanks for putting it up. I saw them in Manchester a couple of months ago- nice guys and great band. I love how every song is like a short story, usually dark.
