Usually people will take a non scary movie and recut it to look like a horror movie.

Not bad! The Shining and Taxi Driver spoofs are hard to top and this one doesn't quite make it. That bucket of blood spoils this spoof.

real nice work. The music makes it really fresh. Although it could also work with authentic 70's music like some burt bacharach(?) or some carpenters for the real feelgood vibe.
